Vacation rentals with a kayak in Victoria County

I needed a place to accommodate my 6 kids, their spouses, & my granddaughters to honor my precious Dad’s wishes to lay his ashes to rest in his beloved Cape Breton home 🙏Nikki was a gift from God who absolutely blessed us with the most beautiful place for this very special time! Not only did we all have beautiful 5 star bedrooms & luxurious baths (I made all my girls pamper themselves 🛁) but the house is so beautifully appointed, designed, & decorated, the property on the water was like a resort-complete & total peace-woke up to beautiful sunrises watching Canada geese & loons swim by & ended perfect days out at a perfectly set up fire under lights with gorgeous sunsets! There was absolutely NOTHING Nikki didn’t think of!!! From beautiful cribs, change tables, toys, books, dinnerware, even a baby bubble bath 💖, kayaks, paddle boards, darts, games, beautiful fire places, indoor/outdoor dining, perfect heat/AC, laundry, & a kitchen a chef would love! And Nikki accommodated our EVERY N

we had a girls trip to Lisa's property and it was above and beyond our expectations ! breath taking views, tons of room in the house .

Beverly's place is located on a beautiful piece of property surrounded by water. The room was beautiful and cozy, with a private bathroom attached. Only one room being rented in her home, so we felt very comfortable. Beverly is an excellent host, a wonderful lady. She went above and beyond, baking us gluten free(!) banana bread when she found out we were celiac and really went the extra mile making us feel welcome with lovely company. Wonderful little restaurant down the road (3 min drive) with delicious food (tons of gluten free options for those who care) called The Dory. If we ever return to the area, Beverly's is the place we would stay 100%

The Pine and the Cedar were amazing cottages to stay at with a group looking to relax!! The property and cottages are just as described and both very beautiful! The property was amazingly kept and very peaceful! We would definitely stay again!

We had a great two night stay with Cora! ⭐️ She was very lovely and welcoming, Accommodating and kind! We would definitely recommend staying at any of her listings. The surroundings were peaceful and the ocean was calming and filled with beautiful crabs and sea shells. 🐚 🦀 The Rv was in perfect condition, clean and well stocked with essentials. We had a restful two nights. 💜 Thank you very much 🙏

Place was very clean, perfect vacation cottage on beautiful lake and the sauna was perfect for relaxing.

Wonderful accommodation in a peaceful beautiful setting. Lots of space for sleeping and playing games and chatting. Great kitchen. We were very happy and enjoyed our weekend immensely. There are 2 neighbours however they are separated by large property lots and we saw no one.

Tara and Lee were wonderful hosts! The house and property were absolutely gorgeous. We enjoyed spending time on the back deck and evenings around the fire pit watching the spectacular sunsets.

We had a great time! The place is so cute and feels very private :) The hosts left a booklet with a ton of great suggestions for local trails etc. Would totally stay here again!

Everything at the cottage was fantastic; we felt right at home. There were eight of us, and the house had enough space for us all and enough bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked and had all the appliances that you need. It was a great stay, and I recommend it to anyone

The cottage is a great place by the river, near Sydney and Louisbourg. Kayaks, canoe and a paddle board are available and there is a little gazebo overlooking the river. The fireplace in the living room made the place quite cosy. Antoinette is a very friendly and reactive host and we had a great stay.

We have recently completed a lovely, lovely stay at Alix’s riverside home on Grand Mira. We were a traveling foursome — and found the place and its environs rejuvenating. The cottage has been in Alix’s family for more than one generation — and it shows, somehow, in the care, detail, creativity and thoughtfulness that she has put into the property. There are two outdoor grills, a covered shore-side deck, onsite parking — and a proper sauna, a few paces off the main deck, just out the back door. The kitchen is well-stocked, with an array of spices and olive oil. We felt graciously hosted throughout our stay. The location is good, too — though a bit far, we discovered, from entrance to the Cabot Trail. It is not far from Sydney. There is gas and a grocery store but a few minutes away. And it is right on the lovely Mira. But the Cabot Trail is nearly an hour away — too far, probably, to take the entire loop and return to the cottage in the same day. The Mira, however, is great!

Such a magical place to stay! Literally right on the beach on Bra D’ors lake. They’re are four cabins side by side but the stay still felt private and secluded. They even have paddle boards and kayaks to use free of charge! The owners stay on site all summer so they were readily available if I needed anything. Definitely a must stay if you’re looking for a relaxing stay.

Lovely place right on the water. Will return next time I am in CB.

Roberts place was just a described, it has the nicest view in the mornings and was perfect for a home away from home while away working. Roberts place has everything you can think of in the kitchen along with a nice BBQ on the deck.

Awesome place to stay, can’t wait to come back next year for our third stay!
