Magnificent view over the ocean

Experience spectacular views from the Bird Box, located at the top of Ørnhaugen on Langøy. From here you can enjoy a fantastic view all the way to the North Sea, with sunset on the horizon over Algrøy. When it blows on the ocean, you can see white sea spraying up islets and cut all the west to Løno. If you arrive by kayak or boat, you can walk to the bird box from the spring. The place is amazing, we really liked the sauna overlooking the fjord. Motorboat fishing was also fantastic. We were lucky to see brown dolphins! I am a returning guest, I have always left with great satisfaction.

Beautiful modern house with an amazing view. We were lucky to have some very good weather and so we made use of the outdoor area which was well equipped with furniture and barbecue equipment. The house was very comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Such a beautiful cottage, right on the water. Left and right nothing but water and nature. We have rarely seen anything so beautiful. Communication with Oystein was straightforward and easy. Since our navigation system misled us, Oystein helped us out of our predicament very quickly with patience. When we arrived, the heating was already on and it was cozy and warm. The bed was facing the window, so we had a perfect view of the fjord from there. The kitchen was very well stocked for our vacation needs. We prepared simple dishes every day. The attempt to shower with the cold fjord water worked out great, but it is certainly not for everyone. It was a great experience. Oystein has created a little paradise. It is highly recommended to visit this beautiful place and stay there for a few days or longer. We will be happy to come back. Sigrid and Achim

An amazing, peaceful location. As Australians we had no idea how it would be to stay on an island in Norway. After a first day when we learnt it was important to allow time to get around the island to the ferry (thanks to tardy sheep), we enjoyed several days out to sightsee further afield. The house is most ideal for the wonderful views, hikes and peace of the island but, if you're willing to plan carefully, trips into the Sognfjord region are certainly possible. Highly recommend this place, thanks for a wonderful stay Janet and Kenneth!
