Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Vernou-sur-Brenne

Everything was perfect, reading and her husband are very welcoming and kind people. I recommend them, looking forward to returning for a future trip by bike.

We really enjoyed our stay at Aude’s apartment. It was bigger than we expected and we appreciated the wine that she left for our arrival! The bedding was comfortable and as others have mentioned, the coffee machine was very nice to have. We had a rental car so made use of her private garage on the street behind the apartment. We loved the balcony and view of the river, though there is ongoing construction between the apartment and the river so the construction site/crane took away from the tranquility. There was also quite a bit of construction noise during the day, though we were out most of the working hours so it didn’t bother us too much.

We were only there for one day and it was the perfect spot, very spacious and clean, in the centre of this cute little town. It’d be great for a longer stay. Just downstairs and around the corner is the main road with all the shops and restaurants. We see no other reviews with a responsiveness issue, so we just got unlucky; we’d agreed on a 2:30pm check-in upon booking, we messaged the host the day of check-in at 9:30am to touch base, and she only replied an hour before check-in to inform us it wasn’t available until 3:30pm instead. We only had one day there and it caused us to rush through exploring one of the two castles we had planned on seeing. If you need a place to store your bags before the unit is available, take note it’s on the first floor in a communal space under the stairs to go up to the unit. It’s a very safe town but we just didn’t want to risk it so we put them on the staircase leading to the unit (3rd floor). Also FYI - The spiral staircase is very steep and narrow.

We had a fabulous weekend in Tours, with incredible, clean, spacious, tastefully decorated accommodation! The location is ideal, the apartment is quiet, perfectly isolated and easy to access! All the comforts are there, you can go there without so much as a second thought! Jérôme and Bea are super welcoming, we felt right at home! We can't wait to come back!

This place was Spacious; very Spacious for just my husband and I. Loved It!! Walking distance for a lot of stores and restaurants. If You really want to treat yourself go to Le Reserve-it was amazing!! Get the Apple for dessert. Eating at and living near the Clock Tower and an easy walk to the Chateau d’ Amboise was perfect. Take a cold bottle of water if you’re walking to Leonardo Di Vinci’s home. It’s worth the walk, but it is a workout, especially with no Cold Water. The chime on the Clock Tower at the 1/2 hr made me smile. Reminded me I was in France every-time! I think it stopped at 6 pm daily. I would not only return I would live here!! Merci

Loved the place, large beautiful green outdoor space. It was quiet and spacious space. Outdoor furniture. Secure premises. Philippe and his wife were very friendly and accommodating. The bakery a few doors down beside the meat market is to die for! The train station is a 7 minute walk away. Pleasant walk across the river to old Ambois town centre.

This is a unique space with incredible attention to detail. The location is ideal to discover Tours and the beautiful Loire Valley area. We hope to be back sometime next year!

Well, this was just a fantastic base from which to explore Amboise and the nearest chateaux. By the end of the first day we were saying to one another "We ought to have booked this for longer," and eventually we texted Greg to ask if we could extend our stay. He could not have been more helpful and as a result we were able to vary our Airbnb booking, and ended up staying in Amboise longer than we had planned. It's a beautiful town anyhow and we certainly haven't exhausted all the places to eat! And what a gorgeous house and peaceful garden, lovely to return to at the end of a day's sightseeing. (Also really useful to have a separate laundry room!) Could not recommend highly enough.

It was wonderful to stay in a home connected to the history of the Loire area and its architecture. We loved the elegant, tall windows, the high ceilings, the wide hallways, the fire places, the lovely lounge and dining rooms, the views of the climbing roses from the bedrooms along the back side of the house, the spacious, main bedroom and the large garden with it comfortable furniture. We ate outside and enjoyed the garden. The kitchen is pretty but a little narrow for a couple of people to work in there at the same time. It is well equiped, with everything you need to prepare meals. The main bathroom is spacious. The second bathroom is bath only with shower attachment in the bath. It was fine for us. The house is decorated with soft, pastel wall paper and is quite sparse in its decoration which I loved because I could enjoy the structures of the home without them being hidden by too much decoration. We loved our stay and would stay again. Carol also kindly looked after us.

New accommodation, very well arranged. The renovation work is of high quality. It has everything you need at your disposal. Easy street parking. Once the outside is landscaped, it will be very nice. A silent fan is available and very appreciable for high heat.

Fabien and Christèle were very welcoming, despite a delay on our part. The accommodation is true to the photos and has a wonderful view of the Loire Valley. Plus, Fabien and Christèle were very accommodating in sending me a watch I had forgotten at the place.

Lovely house and enjoyed the stay very much

You can't find a better service that matches the description on the site perfectly. The humility of our hosts in relation to their "novitiate" in AirB&B and their desire to receive any criticism or suggestion for improvement are very commendable. But as stated in many reviews published before mine, Jean-Noël and Cathy are already the best. Also, any improvements will be minor details compared to the overall situation. Thanks again to them for the pleasant stay we had at their home.

Laetitia is very nice, caring and accommodating. The apartment was impeccable: clean, welcoming and functional. The kitchen was very well equipped, with everything you need to prepare your delicious meal! The small downside is that the collective heating was not on and we did not get very hot (we appreciated having blankets available). We had a lovely weekend! And all of my friends and I highly recommend taking this place.
