Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Vernon Parish

Our stay was amazing, the host Annette was very kind and friendly, felt like part of the family. She is wonderful and very accommodating. Anything we needed she had our backs. Love her like my own mother. Really felt at home. Would definitely book again.

Our family ( total 7 + 1 pup) had so much fun! We couldn't be happier that we have chosen a private beach for Toledo Ben Reservoir family trip ❤️! We did not get to meet Nicole and Jeremy , however, the instruction to this Airbnb is clear; So as the check out process. The kitchen and living room are designed to have huge family gathering. All the pots and pants in the kitchen helped us prepared yummy meals, and rooms/beds are as described.

Awesome place to stay. They were great to chat with and so inviting in their home. Would consider them friends now. And plan to stay on our next trip up. Go see the baby goats and rabbits for sure!!!

Stayed here while working in Leesville. J was a wonderful host and very respectful. Nice quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again next time I’m in town.

Sherry’s place was the perfect weekend getaway to get us out of the city. It was a holiday weekend and we had the lake nearly to ourselves. It was perfect for paddle boarding and kayaking. The home was clean and exactly as described. We enjoyed every minute here and hope to come back some day soon.

Our stay here was amazing! We enjoyed the cabin as it had everything we needed and then some. The cabin itself was beautiful!! Very clean! Kids enjoyed the loft area which had games, toys and a Nintendo 64. It also had a futon and foam blocks which the kids used to make forts. The kids picked up pretty rocks and splashed in the creek that was within walking in the property. We didn’t get to use the volleyball court or tetherball due to our weekend being so packed but we will definitely save that for next time. At night, we very much enjoyed the hot tub and building fires while swinging in the hammock chairs. So relaxing! The river that we went fishing at is only 5 minutes away and the lake was only 2 minutes away.! Oh yea, and our dogs had the time of their lives too! So much room for them to run wild! Our host was amazing. He was very responsive to any questions we had and was fast to reply. We will definitely be back to this little piece of paradise ❤️

The home was great as were the hosts. The kitchen was stocked well with supplies and there were plenty of things to make us feel right at home. Only thing I would say is that it says it can fit five people but that’s on an actual bed, a futon and a twin size pullout couch so it was a bit uncomfortable. But that information was in the fine print that I didn’t read well enough, so not the fault of the host. Everything was so clean and a great place to spend time with family.

Our stay At Ruby’s Cottage was amazing! We enjoyed this quaint home away from home. Quiet and peaceful stay on Lake Vernon. My boys loved the dock for fishing. I loved the early morning sunrises with my coffee on the dock. We loved the beautiful flowers around the property. I could smell the scent of gardenias as soon as stepped out of my car. We will definitely stay at Ruby’s Cottage again!

I must say, from the moment I booked, Kristin was extremely helpful and so friendly! The location was great and house was the cutest. We had a great time fishing and swimming in the lake! Definitely would recommend and can’t wait to plan another trip back! :)
