We stayed here while attending the mud park nearby, and it was the perfect choice for our group. The house was spacious, clean, and had plenty of parking — which made everything so much easier. The space was also fun and welcoming, just like it looked in the listing. We really appreciated the host’s communication and hospitality. Would definitely recommend this place to others and would love to stay again!

The house was beautiful, clean and spacious. The beds were SO comfortable. Very close to everything we needed in nearby towns. Pam was so nice and was quick to answer anything we needed.

Great hosts! I would definitely stay again. For me this is the perfect location at the perfect price. Plus it is dog friendly and I love the sounds of the woodpeckers and song birds!

We loved staying here! Quiet, peaceful country neighborhood where you can take the dog on long walks, but you can still see the hwy in the distance from the front porch. The washing machine is an older model, but it does a great job with everything. With our entire extended stay we had no problem getting a response when we reached out with any concerns .. very peaceful and secluded with trees on all sides making it perfect for staying, and working local. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.

Our stay At Ruby’s Cottage was amazing! We enjoyed this quaint home away from home. Quiet and peaceful stay on Lake Vernon. My boys loved the dock for fishing. I loved the early morning sunrises with my coffee on the dock. We loved the beautiful flowers around the property. I could smell the scent of gardenias as soon as stepped out of my car. We will definitely stay at Ruby’s Cottage again!

Amazing place to stay for quick access to Fort Jackson.

The location was convenient to Fort Johnson, located right outside the Maple gate and just about 15 minutes to Leesville. The location was peaceful and private, surrounded by lots of trees. The home was clean. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with supplies. We enjoyed our stay here and the hosts were both kind and responsive.
