Apartment vacation rentals in Venice Canals

This space is perfect and in a beautiful building north of Wilshire, in a peaceful pocket of Santa Monica. Having frequented the heart of downtown SM many times, this location is my new favorite — walkable, safe, and friendly. The building is historic and stunning, with a lovely courtyard, lobby, and library with seating areas. Check-in was a breeze, and there are late-night managers on duty/security which made me feel safe as a solo traveler, especially when getting home after an evening out. Towels are plush and clean, bed was very comfortable, and the ceiling fans do a great job so I didn’t miss the fact that there’s no AC! It’s worth noting that the windows of this space face a row of other units and a walkway with a good deal of foot traffic, meaning shades need to be kept closed for any privacy since it is ground floor. If you’re like me and spend your time out enjoying the city, this isn’t an issue! Kitchen was spotless with great appliances. Fantastic stay!

The room was just like the pictures. I felt save indoors . However Venice had alot of traffic and homelessness. Yet, the host was generous enough to let us check in early. The only complaint that I had was I booked for three people and there wasn’t enough towels , wash cloths or blankets to accommodate my third guest. So my husband slept on the sofa with the blanket we used in on the airplane….

Vic’s place was great! The location was perfect, we loved strolling with our 5 month old on the marina promenade. We were able to spend an hour at the pool (smallish, but the pool deck is very swanky, felt like an upscale hotel), and our baby had his first “swim” there! The apartment was the perfect size for us two adults and the baby, and Vic had a pack and play already set up. The living room/kitchen is one large open space, and my sister and her fiance (who live right around the corner, our reason for choosing Vic’s place) and my mom were able to come over and we all fit very comfortably for a casual dinner. We loved taking our son out on the patio and he liked to watch the cars go by. Would absolutely love to stay here again!

We had a fantastic stay at Marks gorgeous apartment. The building itself feels like a private haven off the main roads, it’s within walking distance of shops and the Marina and only a 10 minute drive from Venice beach. The private designated parking space was great and although we didn’t use it, the pool and shared spaces looked lovely. The apartment is beautifully furnished and had everything we needed, the bed was super comfy, we felt right at home! We would not hesitate to rebook and visit again. Thanks so much Mark!

Neal's apartment felt like a second home from the moment my son and I walked in! This welcoming one-bedroom is filled with beautiful plants (as a huge Pothos fan, I was in heaven!), and you can tell Neal has put thoughtful details into every corner of his humble and pristine space. The location is fantastic - quiet, safe neighborhood that felt perfect for a mother-son getaway. Everything was spotlessly clean and Neal was an excellent host, making sure we checked in safely and had everything we needed. My only tiny suggestion would be adding a few more spices to the kitchen - a little garlic salt, Adobo, or paprika never hurt anybody! 😊 But honestly, that's being picky because everything else was perfect. Fun coincidence: Back in 2017 when I worked in pharma, one of my clients was Kite, whose HQ is right around the way from Neal's place. Small world! We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely return. Thank you for sharing your beautiful space with us, Neal!

Truly such an amazing Airbnb along with great customer care experience from host. Laura was super kind enough to let me check in earlier than the listing had stated so I could prepare for an upcoming graduation. The environment is perfect for two people - furniture was super comfortable, bed was clean, comfortable sheets, and the rest of the house was just in pristine condition. Throughout the trip, Laura made sure to check in on me to see if anything else was needed which says a lot! She truly cares about her customers and their time spent while visiting. Thank you again so much for hosting me! I look forward to booking again when I visit Los Angeles. 1000/10 recommend this Airbnb to anyone! This deserves to be a super super host ;)

Great place great host easy location love that it’s near erewhon and everything going on near SM

If you’re visiting the LA area this is the perfect location. Everything is 10-20 minutes within distance. Santa Monica was 35 minutes! My stay was great. It was very clean and I loved the decor. They are also 420 friendly. The only downfall in my opinion is the bed. It was not comfortable for me at all. We had issues with the key fob for the parking gate to open/close but the host responded quickly and brought another and made it right. The area is clean and peaceful. I recommend this stay! You’ll enjoy 😊

James’ apartment was the perfect place for us to stay for the weekend! Was very clean and close to many restaurants and the beach. James was clear in communication and the place was very clean.

Exactly as advertised with a great host to match! Akaisha was super responsive if we had questions - one night we came back and couldn’t find any street parking and the hosts were able to figure something out for us. Would be great if there was built in parking for this unit as there’s a good amount of room on the property, but we knew it was street parking when booking. Not a lot of noise from Venice Blvd or the 10! Decent neighborhood, easy to get to main street walking. The unit itself was really great, though don’t bank on using the couch to sleep, it’s not very comfortable. It’s a tried and true one bedroom with one bed.

Maria’s home was fantastic. Location was perfect. The apartment was incredibly clean and equipped with everything you could need. The views were amazing! Check in was straightforward, we followed the instructions on the booking. Needed to make a brief call for Maria to verify but she picked up on the first ring. Also had a small issue with parking (not Maria’s fault at all!) and she was very responsive and dealt with it very quickly. All in all, our stay was wonderful. Thank you Maria!

I would definitely stay here again, the area is adorable and very walkable, Marcis was responsive and accommodating, and we felt right at home! Would recommend this place highly.

It was a really good stay, the neighborhood was really peaceful and serene. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with enough room for storage. Overall great time spent there. Jorge is a great host, very responsive!

Super clean which is very important to me! Place was spotless! Location was great! Cozy place! Rochelle was great at communicating! 👏🏻 There were some other guests on the top floor so you could hear them and their footsteps but other than that it was great! 🙂

Clean, tidy and well-maintained apartment with amazing skyline views, exactly as described! Perfect location on a relatively safe street in dt. Keys pickup process was a bit confusing but manageable. Highly recommended!

We had a great stay at Peter’s place in Marina del Rey. The home was clean, neat, and exactly as described. Peter was a fantastic host, very responsive and always quick to answer any questions we had. Would definitely recommend staying here!

We felt right at home in Tina’s apartment. It was in a very safe area, was close to everything, and the hot tub was great! The bed was slightly uncomfortable but overall very happy with our stay.

The apartment was clean and had a terrific view. We loved the neighborhood and walked by the ocean everyday.

Loved getting to stay here! Felt super safe and it was right across the street from a very convenient shopping center with tons of restaurants and a grocery store.
