Apartment vacation rentals in Velgast

A very spacious, cozy and super equipped apartment! We only stayed two nights, but that was a relaxing little break … especially impressive: the huge sofa 🙂

We had a lovely stay. Everything was very clean and as described. A supermarket just around the corner, the car we could park for free on the street. Completely satisfied :)

Although we had some trouble getting in touch to ask for the door code, we were very happy with the apartment and location. We did not receive the code on the day of our arrival — not email or phone. We were able to talk to Frau Schmidt but we didn’t speak each other’s language. We eventually figured things out and agreed that she was going to meet us at the apartment in 30 minutes to let us in but, due to very bad traffic with the bridge out, we were a bit later and she was not there. However, just as we were about to give up, the code was texted to us.

Very nice and individual place with great ocean views, high-quality and absolutely complete amenities. We immediately felt very comfortable and will be happy to come back. Katrin & Markus.

This place is great. Peaceful neighbourhood, beautiful view and many opportunities for walks. Nearly everything you need is close (around 20 minutes of slow walk). Apartment was cozy and comfortable. Perfect for longer and shorter periods of stay 😊

We had a great time in Barlin. The village is very relaxed and great for walking and enjoying nature. The place is very quiet, has an idyllic garden and the highlight: a sauna with a fireplace :) Anja and her husband are also super nice and were always able to help us if we needed something or had a question. We enjoyed our stay and will be happy to come back!

We greatly enjoyed the beautiful apartment of Martin and Katrin. It is spacious, very clean and nice the two balconies. Really everything is present, nothing is missing!!! The hosts are super nice and welcome you warmly. The location is very nice close to the harbor/walking promenade, where there are a few restaurants and fish shops. From Barth, you can take the ferry to Zingst (45 min.), a cozy tourist town, where the beach is. The shopping street and supermarket Rewe are easily walkable from the apartment. There are many cycling opportunities in the immediate vicinity. The area is very quiet. We had 2 fantastic weeks! Thank you, Martin & Katrin, also for the homemade honey!

We just felt comfortable immediately and were able to enjoy the time very much ✨ The house is really wonderfully cozy, practically furnished and very inviting with attention to detail. Everything you could wish for is there and stays with children are also well taken care of. Our son was particularly impressed by the great dog who is really absolutely magical. Peter had good recommendations for us on what to do in the area and was always ready to listen. It's a great place for rest and relaxation. A beautiful apartment, lovingly decorated and equipped with everything you need. The view is great and a few steps away is a cute harbor bistro with delicious food at reasonable prices, cocktails and soft drinks and nice service. The hosts' tips for destinations in the area were helpful. So: 100% recommendation

We had a very nice few days. Putbus is a good starting point to explore the island. The accommodation is super clean, tastefully furnished - very spacious and the garden offers many places to relax. Matteo's tips were very helpful and he responded immediately when we had a question. We will be happy to come back.

Everything was described. There is a small terrace with chairs and table, so we could have breakfast outside. The apartment is comfortably furnished, we felt comfortable right away. Quiet location, private parking. The bus stations of line 3 are about 350 meters away. Garden with cherry trees - unfortunately they were not ripe yet :-). Communication and "check-in" (via key safe) worked perfectly. We will gladly stay there again on our next visit to Stralsund (a very beautiful city!).

Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) Had a wonderful stay at the place! The apartment was very clean, tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location was quiet, but still central – supermarkets, cafes and public transport were easily accessible. The host was very friendly, easily accessible and responded quickly to any questions. The check-in was very quick and easy. I especially liked the small personal touch in the accommodation, such as fresh towels, a welcome greeting and good tips for the area. I would come back anytime and can fully recommend the property!

Great accommodation in the middle of Old Sassnitz and with wonderful sea views. From here you can get to the beach promenade and the harbor super fast. It is also a great starting point for hikes on the Baltic Sea shore or in the old beech forest towards chalk cliffs and Königsstuhl. The apartment itself (quiet, large, warm) as well as its equipment (kitchen, TV, radio, great shower) is also great. Everything you need for a vacation together. Highly recommended!

Fantastic place to unwind – we will be back! We had a wonderful time in this cozy apartment right on the water! The private beach access with the beach chairs was a real highlight – pure relaxation. The apartment is lovingly decorated, you have to orient yourself a bit because of the ceiling height, but after a day or two you know exactly where to watch out. The kitchen was super equipped, we lacked nothing. The contact with the hosts was warm and uncomplicated – you always felt like you were in good hands. The Lauterbach harbor with small restaurants is within walking distance, and those who like to walk can also walk to Putbus. The parking directly at the property is great. We liked it so much that we immediately requested to come back next year – that says it all 😊

Everything was very nice ...

We stayed at the property for 4 nights. Extremely sufficient space for 6 people. Even with the two bathrooms, there was no morning "scramble"! Everything is super clean, wonderfully quiet. Shopping just across the street. Everything is great! We will be back.

Very easy to find, staff in the office very friendly for the key handover, clean and the whirlpool a highlight. Quiet evenings undisturbed on the terrace, sufficiently equipped, everything was there.

Super nice and quiet living. Andy's apartment was very pretty and homely and everything necessary was available, although the oven and I did not become friends 😅 The construction site next door is hardly noticeable, except that the lake view is somewhat limited, but there is still the cute gazebo outside. Overall, we are super satisfied and will probably knock on Andy's again next year 😊

Everything perfect 🙌 we will definitely return in any case. Everything as described and like in the photos. An absolutely great apartment to relax and also a great choice to drive down in the cold season. The sauna is a real highlight, as is the whole other part of the apartment. Very modern and tastefully decorated and everything you need is there. Really great, we had a very relaxing and beautiful time here 😊
