We had an amazing stay! Everything was spotless and well-maintained, making it feel like a home away from home. The attention to detail was evident, with every comfort carefully considered. The furnishings were cozy, and the layout was perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable getaway!

Thanks for the beautiful stay in your lovely beach house. I loved the interior and hearing the waves at night. The surrounding was quiet except some birds in the morning. We managed to close the curtains in a way so that no light comes in early in the morning. It needed some pillows on the window sill and clothespins to connect the curtains. Entering the street name and Paternoster in google maps lead us to Cormorant St in Golden Mile in St. Helena Bay which is 20 minutes apart of Paternoster. So enter the name of the restaurant Voorstrandt and navigate from there. Thanks for the lovely stay.

Beautifully decorated house and offered everything needed for a self catering holiday. Linen and towels crisp and high quality. Location of house is very central and walking distance of restaurants and beach. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back.

Perfect spot! Can't beat the location!

Wow what a stunning house in the perfect location for a relaxing weekend away from it all. Just 2 hours drive from Cape Town, Aurora is a tiny town literally in the middle of nowhere. There is a small shop and a coffee shop and that's all. You need to come with all your supplies as we were told on booking. Rojeane's house is a home from home, equipped with everything you could possibly need. The house is beautifully furnished and designed and perfectly positioned for the stunning sunset views. We had plans to hike and take a trip to the coast and we were so instantly relaxed that we did nothing. We read books and played with board games from the cupboard and then had delicious long braais into the night. The homemade feta and sourdough bread were so delicious we were begging for more! We were travelling with our teenage children and 2 small dogs and we all wished to stay another night longer when we left. It was a great family weekend away from the city.

The villa is absolutely superb. It's located in prime position right by the water in serene and beautiful Jacob's Bay and has the most incredible patio to enjoy the view and beauty of South Africa's West Coast. The house, and particularly the patio, is extremely well designed and maximizes the enjoyment of the property. The house is easily one of the nicest in the entire estate. The decor and style is perfect and captures the West Coast vibe. The view and particularly the sunsets and starlight made it difficult to believe that I was only 1.5 hours away from Cape Town. The villa is well fitted with indoor and outdoor braais/barbecue, extremely comfortable patio furniture, a covered swimming pool and the garden is lovely. This is truly a special place and my entire family loved it. It's going to be difficult to find a better place to stay than this on South Africa's West Coast. I couldn't recommend this more highly and Michelle is an incredible host. Perfect 5 star rating from me.

A beautiful place with stunning views right on the beach. Our extended family could hang out together or find their own private space. An extremely short walk to a gorgeous beach. Hosts live nearby and were very friendly and helpful.

We had been a little anxious about Paternoster but found the concerns about security (at least for us) not to be an issue. This cottage is stunning. Better than the pictures! Pool area feels like you’re in Greece, the beach side is definitely the Cape, and it’s breathtaking. It’s right on the beach. Lovely rustic style to the house and very comfortable. Security system in the house is reassuringly comprehensive. Great restaurants nearby (book ahead). The house is managed by a local rental office who are friendly and helpful. Janina is also very friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone and we hope to return.

We had a lovely stay at this great house. We were a family with 2 young kids and it worked perfectly for us. It’s an easy walk to lovely restaurant and had a gorgeous beach a minutes walk away. Annora was super welcoming and has a great booklet of recommendations. A great place to enjoy Paternoster from.

We had a lovely and relaxing stay. Lynn's place was clean and tidy. Clean bedding and towels. Beds and pillows were comfortable. The private jetty was very nice, we had the entire jetty to ourselves and caught fish from there. There's place for kids to play. The people in the area were also warm and welcoming. Will definitely visit here again.

What can I say but wow. The views and peaceful surroundings of Pieter’s home and St Helena Bay exceeded my expectations. The photos don’t do justice to the views and the fact that you’re on top of a mountain with sea views of both sides of the peninsula. This home is lovely, spacious and well equipped, it has everything you’ll need to feel at home. The beds were comfortable, the shower was hot and the water pressure excellent. It was great to have a space to take our dogs on holiday with us and a yard to keep them in when we went on a human-only excursion. From the gorgeous sunrise to the chirping birds and the daily dolphin spotting, this home and location is outstanding and we will be back to enjoy it again. For anyone concerned about the road to the house, my sports sedan handled the road with ease, even with low profile tires. So driving a normal car will be more than comfortable enough.

Our stay at this accommodation was absolutely perfect! The property was exceptionally clean, and every detail seemed thoughtfully designed to enhance the experience. The scenery was breathtaking. We were pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful welcome gifts, including the chocolates on the beds. They even went above and beyond by leaving a special birthday gift for my mom, which was such a kind and personal touch. The house itself is wonderfully situated—sheltered perfectly so that sitting outside was comfortable and undisturbed by the wind. This made it a perfect spot for enjoying the views and soaking up the peaceful atmosphere while the children played on the beach. Lu-Ann and Ian were fantastic hosts! They were incredibly friendly, easy to contact, and maintained excellent communication throughout our stay. Their warmth and attentiveness truly made us feel at home. We will surely visit this place again.

Myself and my family members had a great time at Hemel op Aarde Villa it’s a beautiful house right on the beach if you enjoy sunsets this is the place for you. We were well looked after by Liezl and Mariette they kept us update with the load shedding schedule, gave us lots of info on were to buy groceries and fire wood also mussels and crayfish, restaurants. So there was was no stress trying to find stuff. We definitely will be returning for another weekend away. Thanks again to Hemel op Aarde Villa for a great weekend away

Had a lovely long weekend with our adult children and grandson. The fact that our little Daschund was also welcome, was a bonus. Everything was neat, clean and comfortable. Charmain was friendly and after 2 conversations, felt like an old friend. Everything was in good working order and appliances of high quality. Bedsidetable lamps will be a nice adding to this lovely home. We love St Helena and will surely return.
