Relax and recharge with the family in the peaceful and picturesque village of Aith. This is our family holiday home, close to our family in the quiet and friendly village of Aith, Shetland. It is a great location as the village has a shop, Leisure Centre, Harbour and Marina, play park and is a 5 minute walk to the fantastic ‘Michael’s Wood’. This award winning woodland and trail was planted by family in memory of our cousin and so is a really special place for us which we hope you will enjoy.

Bothy Be Wast

Really get away from it all in this unique secluded bothy tucked away on the west coast of the Whiteness peninsula on the shore of the beautiful Stromness Voe. Take a 5-10min stroll over the hill and down to the bothy nestled among reeds on the shore to feel a thousand miles from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Sleeps up to 4 persons with power supplied via 240V battery power pack. Drinking water will be supplied and shower/sink supply will be topped up as required.

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located 2 storey dwelling house. Shops are a short drive to either Lerwick, Scalloway or Whiteness. There are 2 golf courses, one 18 hole and one 9 hole, within a mile of Braebank and a bus stop within walking distance. There is a loch next to the 9 hole golf course which is used for model yachting and trout fishing. A wonderfully central place to enjoy exploring the Shetland mainland.
