Holidays by the lake Unden

In the middle of West Götalands unspoilt nature with its lakes and forests, near the big lake Vättern, about 5 kilometers from the village of Undenäs and far away from any through traffic, the small country village of Igelstad is located, directly on the lake Unden. The village is a small collection of scattered houses and farms, of which some are permanently inhabited, while others are used as summer cottages. Here, in a large clearing in the forest, the small farm "Nolgården" is situated. The house is a separate, well-equipped classic wooden log house, built in spruce. It was thourougly renovated in 2008. There is a private bathroom, kitchen and private terrace, Internet connection (WLAN) and Amazon Fire TV (Magenta TV). A cozy fireplace and electric heating provide comfortable warmth. Directly from the house you can make nice walks in the unspoilt nature, pick berries and mushrooms, or walk to lake Unden, one of the clearest and most pristine lakes in Sweden. From the house to the west side of the peninsula, there is only 800 meters. Here you can have a swim or enjoy the sunset over Unden. The eastern shore can be reached in quarter of an hour via a forest path. By the shore a canoe lies ready for extensive reconnaissance trips to the beautiful deserted islands and quiet bays. But the area has much more to offer: the romantic Tiveden National Park, Lake Viken, Forsvik and the Göta canal with its locks, and the huge lake Vättern are just a few examples of interesting destinations.

Newly built Attefall house with the absolute best location on the longest lake in the Nordic region and one of Sweden's finest beaches. With walking paths, cafes and restaurants, it's a place that has something for everyone. The shallow, clean water is sheltered in a cove that is perfect for surfing and kayaking. Close to padel courts, tennis courts, miniature golf. No pets allowed. Sheets/towels are brought yourself, but can be rented for SEK 100/person. Events/parties are not allowed. Water pipes/smoking not allowed!

The cottage is located a stone's throw from the shore of Lake Vättern with Omberg as a fund and with the beautiful plain that spreads out around Borghamn. We look forward to meeting 2025 with upcoming guests and please do not hesitate to look at the listing and contact me for any requests. Nearby there is a stone industry that is in use.

In our beautiful beach house you live so close to the lake, you can hear the sound of the waves. The house is 70 m from the beach, the longest "lake beach" in Scandinavia. Summertime there are 5 restaurants close by.(3 in the wintertime) Perfect for catching some sun, relaxing, vindsurfing, kitesurfing, nice walks in the beautiful area, tennis, paddle, minigolf or chilling and barbecuing on the patio. Att få bli ett med naturen i en magisk omgivning är något speciellt. Här kan ni slappna av och bara njuta! Till byggnaden hör även en terrass med bord & stolar. Byggnad uppfördes 2023 där byggmaterial är närproducerat, möbler & elektronik är återbrukade för att få ett så litet klimatavtryck som möjligt. Modern tiny house - 100 m to the lake!

A tiny house, 36 sqm, with modern furnishings from 2019 with large terrace, 100 meters from the lake. Fully equipped kitchen, lounge area with a sofa bed, toilet with shower and washing machine. Air conditioning. Bedroom with a bed 140cm. In the middle of the nature, in a forest full of mushrooms and berries. The lake is perfect for long-distance skating in winter. Possibility to loan a boat or raft in the summer, and a wood-fired hot tub in winter time. Wifi. TV. Barbecue.

The gem of Norra Vätättern

On a ridge overlooking the beautiful archipelago of northern Vättern lies our modern, newly built holiday home with large social areas and a fantastic ceiling height with nice light inclusions. Here, a slightly larger group/family can find recovery with proximity to nature, yet it is only 10 minutes by car to the beautiful small town of Askersund. Tiveden National Park is close to Harjebaden's long sandy beach. The house was ready in autumn 2018 and has all amenities.

Cozy little cottage beautifully located near the Varamon beach in Motala. The cottage is newly built and is only 100 m from the beautiful sandy beach. Nice decking around the cottage and possibility to barbecue. Parking space is included right outside. Bed linen and towels are not included but may be rented for a fee, 100sek/person. Also suitable for golf weekends with proximity to, for example, Motala GK, Vadstena GK and Askersunds GK.
