Kate's Place has been my go to place to stay when vacationing in Southport. Kate is a thoughtful and friendly Host. Kate's Place is perfectly located from downtown Southport, the Ferry to nearby Bald Head Island and Wilmington. It is only a short drive to Oak Island. Kate's Place is a perfect place for a single visitor. I always feel right at home.

This cottage was amazing. A little slice of heaven tucked away in a private space but still close to all of the essentials! Gretchen made sure that the stay went well and was super helpful. Will definitely stay here again if I am back in the area!

Just as it was pictured and described. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. She gave us lots of suggestions for food and things to do. Would book again! One unexpected event before my trip was breaking my foot but we still kept the trip. The place had a ramp and other amenities that allowed me to be able to still get around the property/house pretty well.

This place was as described and perfect for our little get away. Fran made herself available and provided timely help when needed. Will definitely consider staying here again if in the area.
