In our beautiful cottage in the depths of the North woods are all the convenience you need for a relaxing stay. The main cabin contains a restful bedroom, kitchen and dining area with beautiful views and a cozy loft living. There is a guest cabin with two beds. Here you can choose freely among the outdoor activities like hiking, berry / mushroom picking, kayak / bath and game fishing in the lake Noran (about 350 meters from the house, cycling / running in this beutiful nature! Welcome!

Fully equipped kitchen with sharp knives and cooking basics of salt, pepper, cooking oil and even some tea were already there. Only 20 - 25 minutes drive to Romme Alpin and to Borlänge. It really felt like our home for the two nights we spent.”
This is a cosy stuga without electricity and no running water built in the traditional way. There is a woodstove to heat or prepare meals as well as a 2 ring gascooker. A sleeping loft with two single matreses who can be put together. There is a outside toilet on the premises as well as a Finnish wood heated sauna . You will have to bring your own wood for the cabin and the sauna. Quests bringing dogs have to keep the dog on a leash as I have dogs of my own , chickens and a cat .

Good to know is that we consumed 50 L of firewood for two days / two nights (including firewood for sauna) for two people. In the pictures you can think that the sauna is connected to the cottage, but it does not. The cottage is in a building, the sauna in a building and the docket in a building. In addition to these buildings, there is a large dwelling house, a smaller dwelling house and some outbuildings. So it is not completely isolated. We could choose how much / little we wanted to spend with the hosts. Just right. Cozy dogs.”

This amazing traditional timber cottage at a top of Siljansnäs settlement with a view over Siljan on one side and edge of a forest full of berries and mushrooms on other side is comfortable to stay and offers privacy and recreation and a simple life style to enjoy. We are couple of two, were visiting in early autumn. The porch and wooden terrace is amazing space to enjoy in sunny days. Fire brass brings warmth in rainy days and sitting at the veranda with amazing view reading a book with a warm cup of chocolate. We loved it! Beautiful cottage of Martina’s with a beautiful story.”
