Perfect stay for a weekend with the girls! Very accessible and accommodating. House was exactly as noted/pictured in description. Will stay again for sure!

We were greeted with a welcome card and a bottle of Finger Lakes riesling. The cottage is in a great location for exploring the area. We stayed for Cornell's graduation weekend and going to and from Ithaca took about 25 minutes. The kitchen and bathroom were well-stocked, and the bedrooms were spacious. The guys using the sofa bed said it was not the most comfortable but OK overall. The decor was really charming, and I wish we'd had some down time to read the books John and his co-hosts picked out. I highly recommend this property for a family or small group trip because of the convenient and beautiful location and homey amenities.

Generously stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Unheated pool was a little too chilly the beginning of June, but great back yard space for grilling and visiting. A lounge chair with an adjustable back for reading would make it even more amazing. Loved that I could go for a walk on quiet country roads in the morning. Thank you Traci for all the extra's, your home worked out perfectly for us and we'll be back!

Excellent home. It’s a very private location at the end of a quiet 4 home street. Won’t see or hear the neighbors at all. Easy drive to Ithaca, great hiking, local farms, and Watkins Glen. The pool is great, secluded and in all afternoon sun. Great for relaxing. Fire pit has all you need - dry firewood, Fire starters, s’mores kit, and sticks. Corn hole too. The house is very comfortable, clean, and well designed. If you are taller than 6’5, the master bathroom ceiling might be slightly low for you but the bathroom in the main level would be fine. Definitely recommend this gem

The Villa and its host, Nicki, were excellent and exceeded our expectations. The Villa is set in the middle of a beautiful wine grape vineyard with mountain views -- very memorable. The inside is beautifully decorated with luxury amenities throughout. Nicki was incredibly proactive in her communication and extended our stay to ensure that we were able to maximize our enjoyment. This was one of the most comfortable and relaxing stays we've ever experienced. I highly recommend the Villa and Nicki to anyone, thank you!

This is my families second stay at Bree’s beautiful home for the Christmas week. The family gathers from all different cities and such a perfect spot to come together ! Cozy and spacious , kitchen is well supplied and the views are spectacular. We were so happy to have a white Christmas this year and 6 fox sightings in the yard!! Highly recommend!! Haven’t stayed for the summer season but I can imagine with the pool and hot tub and lake use opportunities it would amazing. Thanks again Tom

The Orchard was the perfect retreat for our family including 2 babies and a dog. Wonderfully scenic. We were in NY for a Syracuse University event which was 22 min by car and not far from the highway - one night we were able to find an uber without much difficulty. The kitchen was stocked with Kurig Pods (at least 20?) w/ sugar and complementary Beak and Skiff Cider. Bathrooms had soap, shampoo and cream rinse. Eddie was very communicative and checked in to make sure all was well. Grocery stores are not local (bring what you think you might need - there was a restaurant close by at golf course with fried bar menu - 1911 tasting room is local , but check the hours / days ( they closed at 7 pm ) Dining out will be a bit of a drive - minimum 15 minutes . All in all , it was a wonderful stay. Thank you !!

What a wonderful 4-day stay in a perfect cottage for my 3 middle aged daughters and me on our “girls’ trip!” The house had everything we needed and was perfectly located for our visits to wineries, breweries, Watkins Glen State Park, Ithaca, and many other places in the Finger Lakes region. We loved our evenings by the fire pit with the stunning lake view and beautiful sunsets. The comfortable seating on the covered porch made our one rainy evening enjoyable, and we continued to have fun in the sturdily built game room which became our “safe place” during an unexpected tornado warning! Jaci’s communication was great, and we highly recommend staying at this lovely cottage!

Do not hesitate to book this little piece of heaven! We stayed a full week and I didn’t want to leave. The deck and pier provide gorgeous views right on the lake. We spent many, many hours outside enjoying the beauty and peacefulness. Tips: As described, be sure to bring in plenty of drinking water. We drank lots of coffee in the mornings, just sitting on that gorgeous deck. If the stairs make you nervous, try the futon. It was quite comfortable, especially turned 90 degrees. Try to use the back door sparingly (unless you have to lock up). Lots of mosquitoes back there! We mostly used the door that faces the lake. We were relieved to find sunblock and bug spray there. We had forgotten those. You’ll definitely need them. Check out The Windmill (15 min) shops. Also highly recommend Hermann J Wiemer winery just 5 min up the road. Great tasting experience. Make a reservation first on their website.

A perfect spacious spotless house in a beautiful surrounding. The host Bradley was very responsive from the start and was able to help us with a few changes to our schedule. Our family of 4 loved staying here and will again soon. We didn’t want to leave ! It was a perfect get away to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of its surroundings. The outside deck has an eagles eye view of the lake and can also enjoy beautiful sunsets. This place is just like the photos posted and it is that clean! I would highly recommend this place and would 100% find a reason to come back again!

my friend and I stayed at Sarah's home in Hector for 3 nights in June. The location was perfect. We were about 15 minutes from Watkins Glen. Many wineries were within a short driving distance. The winery acoss the street has blues night on Mondays and we were able to walk over. The house had many amenities including pet treats which my friend's dog, Bernie, enjoyed. Sarah provided recommendations for area restaurants, wineries and things to do which was quite helpful. She is a very responsive host which my friend and I look for when booking Air Bnbs. The house was clean and comfortable. The deck in the backyard was and added plus. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely stay here again.

Amazing quiet and peaceful. The perfect place to rest and recharge after spending ample time in nature. If you’ve been to this area before you know you’ll be doing a lot of driving. What I loved was that we were only 15 minutes away from the city center but at the home we felt totally secluded from the outside world. No TV and no WI-FI but we didn’t mind. Love the selection of games available for us to have a cozy night sipping wine from the many wineries on Seneca lake. The hot tub with the incredible view was outstanding. Will definitely be coming back!

Our stay at Vinehaus was wonderful. The house is nestled in the vineyards, very quiet yet easily accessible from the main road on the West side of Seneca Lake. Our host, Margaret, has made the place quite comfortable with king beds, lush towels and bath items, a fully stocked kitchen, games, and everything else you *might* need. It is beautifully decorated, and the grounds are kept perfect. We often took advantage of the morning sun and the afternoon breeze sitting on the outside porches. There are many wonderful wineries close by, and quite a few places to eat in Watkins Glen and Penn Yan. Margaret, our host, gave us good recommendations on local places, and was very responsive to all our questions. Should we find our way back to the Finger Lakes, we would definitely stay at Vinehaus again.

This was the perfect get away but close enough to Ithaca! I would highly recommend this peaceful place!

Wonderful place! Was exactly what we were looking for. Lots of space and loads of amenities.

Our family of 6 had a great stay. It was great being right on the lake. The house has a great location with so many things to do with in 30 minutes. We would stay again.

The perfect place for a family of 5 (including my 2 year old). The hosts were very responsive and knowledgeable about the area. They provided great tips on the area. Location is ideal for wine/beer tasting, Watkins Glen and Seneca and Keuke Lake. Buttermilk Falls was an easy 40 minute drive. Right around the corner from Shtayburn Farm for home made ice cream. The house was spotless and well equipped. The appliances were top notch for a home cook like me. All Clad waffle maker and Lavazza espresso machine!!! I miss the high end oven already. Bonus bottle of wine at arrival and complementary wine tasting at their vineyard across the street. definitely coming back!

My family enjoyed Minnie's place. The place is spacious, clean and the bed is comfortable. Easy access to the places we visited. You will hear some noise from the vehicles passing by. Aside from that, everything is good. Thank you for letting us stay in your place.

Lovely house right on Lake Seneca and close to many wineries…host was wonderful and offered many recommendations for the area. There was plenty of space to hang out in different areas. Only thing to be aware of is there is only one shower so if you have a larger group, it’s a bit of a challenge to all get showered and ready to go quickly. Also the upstairs space where there are two of the three bedrooms passes right over the living area so there is no real privacy or quiet up there. Altho the bedrooms up there are beautifully decorated. Again, with kids it’s no big deal but if you have multiple couples or adults staying it is something to note. Overall it was beautiful and well appointed! We had a wonderful time enjoying time with our family!

Beautiful and extremely tasteful house. Everything is new and has everything we need. Beautiful forest views. The sound of the river is wonderful. A premium property comparable to a 5 star hotel.

My girlfriend and I were in Penn Yan for a wedding. Paulina’s place was in a great location quick drive to downtown and the lake. We were only a single couple but there is plenty of room for two couples; the unit is overall spacious, two large bedrooms, 3/4 bath + additional 1/2 bath. Good value, I would recommend.

Samira's home was the perfect place for our family to stay. Although a bit of a drive to Ithaca for my daughter's graduation from Cornell - given the busy time of the year, it was a great find. It was as described and beautiful! The home was very spacious and that was fantastic for the amount of days we were staying. Samira was very accommodating and responsive. It is right off of the main road so there is a bit of traffic noise so keep that in mind. We found it lovely and comfortable and would highly recommend and I plan stay again in the future should I be back in the area. Gorgeous view of the lake and many wineries nearby. You should check this place out!

We had a girls weekend at the finger lakes and absolutely loved stayed in Stephenie’s home. When we arrived the house was spotless! She had helpful notes and reminders around the home. You could tell that Stephenie is thoughtful and pays attention to details. We loved that! She had a bottle of wine for us and a welcome kit with info about the area! Our favorite part was the covered deck and hot tub. It rained all weekend so this allowed us to still be able to hang outside together! Stephenie was friendly and responsive to my messages. I would absolutely stay at this home again in the future! We are talking about doing our girls weekend again here next year! Thanks Stephenie!
