Two-story village house with a garden overlooking our beautiful church, a south-facing terrace with a panoramic view of the village rooftops, a 5-minute walk to shops, accessible by car, possibility of parking on the street next to the house, and for larger vehicles, parking lots are 200 m away. The house features an equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, air-conditioned living room, a large bedroom with a 200 x 200 cm king-size bed, a bathroom with shower and bathtub, and a toilet on each floor.

A complete renovation provides all modern day comforts and a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy after a day in Provence. The village of Menerbes (A Year in Provence - Peter Mayle) has mostly local villagers living here. Beautiful walks and cycling are popular pastimes. There are museums, an art gallery & a few shops run by locals. Unspoilt and completely unique.

Couchant, cottage with pool and view

We had been looking for over a year for a house full of history to live in with our family. In 2008, we fell in love with this 18th century country house and its outbuildings (cisterns, sheepfold, stable). Its architecture is typical of the Valensole plateau, with walls made of pebbles from the Durance laid with lime, plastered walls and fireplaces. Its restoration took us 8 years, with difficult moments but also the satisfaction of having given new life to a piece of history...

So come and visit our beautiful region: the Valensole plateau and its lavender, Lake Sainte Croix and the Gorges du Verdon.

Private terrace, garden furniture and gas plancha included. In season (May–Oct.), access to our pool and pergola lounge, weather and availability permitting.

You will enjoy the shared swimming pool with the second vacation rental on the property. The swimming pool is heated from the moment the weather permits to relax when returning from your excursion. The region offers many places to walk, visit and a variety of sports activities.

Rented for 2 people, possibility to put an additional bed in the room, ON REQUEST only. The house does not have an outdoor area. Parking 200 m away.
