The three floors include a fully outfitted kitchen/dining room, sitting room, baths and bedroom with a terrace, and a living room with a sweeping view of Spain from the balcony. The house has a modern kitchen/bath (and furnished with antiques. The house is inside the Castle walls. No parking allowed in castle.

Tapada da Raia has 35 acres of land, in the Natural Park of Serra de São Mamede (being the last Portuguese house, because it is bordered to Spain). For years it served as an anti-stress refuge for the family, who today decided to open the doors for those who want to spend relaxing days in the nature. Cozy country house, set in a serene and natural Alentejo hill with about 4 hectares. In the heart of the Serra de S. Mamede Natural Park, it is surrounded by a wide variety of native flora, such as cork oaks, olive trees, oaks or fruit trees. Crossed by the Sever River and a stream that invites you to take refreshing baths through its numerous waterfalls. It also has two real natural pools, old reused irrigation tanks.

Discover the Apartadura Dam and enjoy the silence At night, contemplate the starry sky as it is not seen in the city and try to identify the constellations. The croaking of the frogs keeps you company.

Recently restored, it offers a modern, welcoming environment while preserving the traces of times past. It has a Jacuzzi with water that can be heated on the panoramic balcony.
