We live on site, but the apartment is totally private, being the whole upper floor & with own entrance.

An ideal location for exploring the area, the independent and private bedroom is set in a rural garden of olive trees, mandarins, almonds, grapes, and figs, surrounded by nature with mountain views of Serra da Gardunha and Serra da Estrela, the highest mountain range in Portugal. A queen-size bed, quality linen + bathroom & kitchenette. Hot shower, mini-fridge, mini stove ensure you can make the most of your stay. Villa Curtumes is located in Quinta de Peleiros, a charming house that is over 100 years old, which was abandoned and was recently renovated and transformed into a luxury accommodation with amenities that you won't find anywhere else, which make the experience unforgettable, unique and with a desire to repeat. Based on the history associated with the fur business of the first owners of the house, 4 Villas were created whose names were inspired by themes related to the art of fur tanning.

The house includes an open kitchen and living room, a 11 m2 mezanine for sleeping, an outside shower, compost toilet in a 5000 m2 forest garden with granit boulders, natural structures, sculptures and chillout places.

Ideal for relaxing with family or friends. We accept all animals. The farm, Chalet, garden and swimming pool are for the exclusive use of the guests.

The house is located on a fenced farm. It overlooks a lake, a pine forest and the Serra da Estrela, in a natural setting of great beauty. It has the right amenities for a few quiet days, with air-conditioning and electric heating, a refrigerator, a microwave, a small induction stove, an electric coffee maker, a blender, a gas grill and another charcoal grill outside, and a coffee machine (Delta capsules).

Stairway to the Castle

Located in the historic village of Monsanto, the Most Portuguese Village in Portugal, the house was recovered from an old stone house, creating a rustic atmosphere, with the comforts of a current home. Being in the middle of the village, we easily meet the neighbors, hear birds or continue to climb to the Castle (since the house is on the way to the Castle).No access by car (parking 200 meters away)
