Old house attached to the BIG HOUSE (ad CASA GRANDE DE JUNCAIS) transformed into a small independent apartment, the Alambique has 1 bedroom with double bed, mezzanine with 2 single beds, 2 toilets, living room, kitchenette and salamander and has capacity for 4 people. Guests will have access to the game room, billiards, ping-pong, foosball, bicycles and swimming pool. Guests are provided with information about places to visit, where to eat, which way to go... and someone from the House is always around for any support that is needed. It is located in the center of the village, constituting one side of the main square, in an area of 5444 m2. Located in Serra da Estrela, a few kilometers from Penhas Douradas, in an area of Castles and Historic Villages, where it is possible to hike on signposted trails, venture into Paragliding (in the neighboring Historic Village of Linhares) or cool off on the river beaches of Mondego and Zêzere. In the region, the gastronomic offer maintains the authenticity of the old days, with dishes such as goat with míscaros, Carqueja rice, pickled river fish and morcelas with greens, not to mention rye bread, excellent olive oil and Dão wine.

The Relax Container, the only existing house in the property, is an isolated comfortable home completely surrounded by nature, and a small creek passing by, where you can relax and regenerate yourself, away from the stress of the cities. In the same space, there´s a hot tub you can enjoy (private and not shared) and only available for the house guests (extra fee applies).

River View Cottage is located at the highest point of our hilly estate rising above the left bank of the River Douro. The magnificent views from the balcony will take your breath away! The 200 year old stone cottage has recently been refurbished with all the modern amenities necessary for your comfort. The cottage sits within a fully operational wine & fruit farm offering a first hand view into a local farming operation while enabling rest & relaxation.

If you're in the mood for nature, relaxation or outdoor activities... Casa Raposa's lodges are made for you. Our 30m2 lodge is a large open-plan living area with a bedroom, lounge and kitchenette. Quinta de Recião is intended to welcome those who like to enjoy nature in its most genuine expression: the melody of silence interrupted by the singing of birds, the gentle lapping of the waters of the waterfalls and the bucolic sound of a mill, which invites us to fall asleep and dream of the paradise called Recião.
