We had two nice nights in Helgenäs. Hosts Monika and Bertil were incredibly helpful and friendly. The cottage was cozy, fresh and well-equipped. Also close to a nice beach. Highly recommended!☀️

Our stay at the house was absolutely perfect! The serene Swedish countryside setting is the ideal backdrop for this beautifully renovated home. Some of our favorite things regarding our stay was the well-equipped kitchen which made cooking a joy, the high-quality beds and furniture around the house and the peaceful outdoor spaces where we could relax and take in the stunning surroundings. The communication with the host was excellent—they were responsive, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. This retreat is perfect for anyone seeking a tranquil escape. We can't recommend it enough and can’t wait to return for a longer stay next summer!

The "yellow house" is already appealing and inviting on the outside. Inside, you can expect cozy and tasteful rooms. Everything for everyday needs is in good condition and abundantly available. The house has charm and atmosphere. Everything is quite straightforward and manageable. The host is always responsive and helpful. Exceeded expectations, the cottage is literally 5 meters from the beach, there is parking, a lake terrace with barbecue, jetty with rowing boat and wood-fired sauna that worked great. Lotta and Partner are super nice with nice energy, hospitable and for your service, there are no big roads nearby so it is quiet and comfortable all times of the day, the whole bay that the cottage is in is a delight to the eyes, a lot of greenery and nice flowers and fruit trees, a golden place in summer, fun with outdoor shower as well👍🏼 There is an ICA store like 500 meters away that has self-service after manned opening hours which was a big plus when we were craved for ice cream boats 😁 We will book this cabin several times, highly recommend!
