Chalet Salamandre

Enjoy the peace, the view and the comfort of this stylish chalet. Very suitable as a romantic getaway or relaxing in nature with your family. We are at 650 meters altitude, in a hot summer it is always a little cooler than in the valley and with a breeze, very pleasant. At night, the lake cools down and it's a good night's sleep. We don't need air conditioning. Dogs are welcome, €15 per stay. For the winter months there is a wood stove. The firewood is not included in the rental.

Welcome to our stylish townhouse situated in the heart of Quillan. Located just away from the square next to the stunning Eglise de Quillan - Notre Dame de l'Assomption. Plenty of cafes and bars can be found in the square and there is a twice weekly market on a Wednesday and Saturday where you can buy fresh produce. Quillan is a great base to explore the mystery and legend of Aude Cathar Country, with its hillside vineyards and Pyrenean peaks the perfect backdrop.

The house is located in the middle of nature between woods and scrubland. Facing south with beautiful sunshine, beautiful views, silence, and a starry sky. All the conditions to unwind in peace. It is only 1.5 km from the village. Great market 8 km away. Very good wifi connection. You can immediately set off on the many hiking trails. 3 lakes for swimming and the Aude gorge (canoe kayak raft) are nearby. Bars, restaurants ,supermarket 7 km away.
