The entrance to the city through the Porte d'Aude is located just a few dozen meters from the apartment. Just below the apartment there is a grocery store, pharmacy, tobacco store...

The house is in a small quiet village located 8 km from Carcassonne. During your stay, you can visit the City of Carcassonne and the Canal du Midi, both of which are UNESCO World Heritage sites, and stroll along Lake Cavayère, which is very easy to access by a beautiful 5 km walk. The village is close to a motorway exit. Many sites will be offered (the abbey of Fonfroide, Minerva, Lagrasse, the Cathar castles, etc.).
