Charming old house with simple standard for use during the summer months. Located in a garden tune at Alsaker just off rv 15, about 2 km from the city centre. Walk and bike path to the city center. Good starting point for fishing in Eidselva, walks or day trips around Nordfjord. The house has 2 floors with a steep staircase to attic w/2 bedrooms + one bed at a time in the attic. Toilet and shower has its own door outside under covered entrance area. The kitchen contains stove, sink, coffee funnel and kettle, boilers and easy equipment.

There is a private garden and terrace around the entire cabin with outdoor furniture in several places. The planting provides nice patios and shielding from other houses in the area. The cabin is close to several swimming areas by the fjord and mountain lakes. In the mountains there are many great hiking opportunities, for both beginners and more experienced hikers.

A quiet and idyllic accommodation with a fantastic view of the fjord, communication with Roy Inge and last but not least the relaxing stay in the great hot tub are hard to beat. We received an immediate response to all questions regarding the accommodation. It would have been nice if there had been an extra toilet in addition to the bathroom, because with six people, there was a little congestion in the morning hours. The additionally rented boats were also very good, unfortunately the weather was not so good during our stay, which is why the fish bit rather badly when fishing. We can definitely recommend the accommodation and we would love to come back.

Despite the changeable and cool weather, we had six wonderful days at this accommodation. The view of the landscape is breathtaking in almost any weather. The cabin offers every comfort, and the peace and quiet are wonderful. Communication with our host was uncomplicated, quick, and friendly. It is also an ideal starting point for numerous activities, such as a catamaran trip to Geiranger and, above all, the bird island of Runde. Shopping facilities are available, and charging stations for electric cars are nearby. This house is highly recommended for people who value peace, comfort, and friendly hosts.

We had a great stay in Hanne's cabin, and everyone, with an age range from 4 months to 68, had a great time. The cabin is peacefully located, but with short distance to the city center. The jacuzzi was popular, the kitchen well equipped and otherwise nothing to postpone. Recommended!

An amazing cabin experience! We have had a wonderful stay and we are incredibly pleased! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome and comfortable. The cabin was sparkling clean, tidy and very well maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was perfect for us, with beautiful nature just outside the door and good opportunities for both hiking and relaxation. The hosts (Lisa and Hallbjørn) have been absolutely superb – they were helpful and made sure we had everything we needed❤️. Their attention to detail really made a difference. I had a great stay at this beautiful cabin! The views were out of this world, magical! Many hiking trails starting right outside the door. The cabin itself is so cute and comes with a gas stove, a fireplace, a radio, lights on batteries. There's a water tank which you can fill up right outside, and the toilet is a 200m walk away but it's definitely clean for an outhouse! Make sure to check if your shoes are waterproof, my hiking boots apparently were not and that makes the walk to the toilet a lot less pleasant😅 Overall 10/10 stay in this beautiful landscape!! Make sure to bring your own map or download the map from norgeskart, and do your research on the hikes beforehand (e.g. Middagshornet is absolutely gorgeous but not for the inexperienced hiker)

The home is absolutely gorgeous. The surroundings are incomparable. The cottage is secluded from others but only a few kilometers from a small shop where everything you need is located. It has everything you could need. A perfect paradise to get close to nature. Hiking trails and activities are plentiful for those who like it. For those who just want to take it easy, it's just as perfect. 10/10. Roger always responded super fast and extremely generous. All in all, it was a great experience. Highly recommend renting the cabin!
