This was the warmest place in Winterton that we have ever stayed in with my team. The house was absolutely clean and hospitable as described in the images. There is absolute safety, comfort and homely touch.

Beautiful view from almost every room, inside is very modern , solar but also Eskom electricity on those rainy days made a big difference. Clean rooms and bathrooms Private and very safe area Few nice hikes inside the estate easily accessed from the house which was great fun Thank you for a lovely stay

We had a great stay and loved our time in Winterton. Savannah was really helpful with our check in and Willem was on hand to assist with any requests we had. We would recommend this stay to anyone who would like to explore the area as it is wonderfully situated. We hope to be back in the future.

Such a lovely spot! It exceeded our expectations. We stayed 2 nights with our little Staffie - such a big yard for him to run around in. Loved that it was fenced off so we could just relax knowing he wasn’t wondering off. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone

A wonderful place to stay! We would love to come back for a bit longer. This lovely stone cottage is as cozy as it looks in the photos. A 4x4 or high-clearance vehicle might be advisable, especially after the rain.

Simons place was great, beautiful views with a nice bakery just around the corner. The place was spacious and clean. Definitely recommended.

really great getaway. you get the feeling of being completely remote, but you are very close to amenities and loads of hiking and other outdoor activities.

Thank you so much - The Green Lantern was really lovely, it was beautiful and we had a warm welcome. Doggies and kids all welcome and it works so well in the tranquil setting. The food at the restaurant was very good - I have one recommendation though, if the menu could be sent and people can also order ahead specially since the restaurant only takes orders until 8pm. Loved the table tennis and the staff and chess.

We absolutely loved being at the farmhouse and experiencing the beautiful location and surrounding nature. Will definitely come back next time we come to the country.

Absolutely loved staying here. My girlfriends and I needed time away from the city, to relax and have a mini staycation and the honey cottage allowed us to have that experience! Definitely coming back

Great and peaceful stay at Maryke’s lovely cottage. The area is peaceful, with the cottage being close to a lot of different activities in the area. Would recommend for anyone looking to wind down or looking to explore part of the Drakensburg

We stayed three nights at Woodlands lodge, what an absolute pleasure. Janet was an outstanding host, she kept in touch through our trip, the unit was spotless and we felt right at home. We watched the stars at night, but the weather changed and snuggled up on the couch to warm coay fireplace. Janet is very well informed of the area, and suggested places we could explore. We will definitely return.

We fell in love with this accommodation the moment we saw it. The farmhouse is rustic and cosy. We throughly enjoyed bathing in the antique claw foot bath. However, it is the land and stunning view of the mountain from the farmhouse door that took our breath away. Andi is a friendly and generous host, doing a wonderful job with her lion sanctuary. We were mesmerised, hearing her incredible stories and listening to the lions roar.

Our stay at Vanessa’s was everything we wished for and more. The amenities were as described, location provided us with much peace and quiet and the host was very responsive and helpful. Thank you for a lovely stay Vanessa!

We absolutely loved our stay at Wayne’s place! Beyond peaceful and relaxing. Such a great location, with stunning views! Close to Giants Castle, where you can do day hikes. Great dirt roads for trail running. House is equipped with everything you may need! We arrived to a clean spotless home, and the friendliest welcome from Bongi who looked after us so well! We will most definitely be back, and so look forward to it :) Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Franck is the best Airbnb host I ever had. He is such an interesting and well-traveled man. He gave me all the information I needed to hike at Tugela Falls and invited me to eat dinner with him. The apartment was exactly as advertised. Very good. He even drove me to the bus station the next day.

What a wonderfull stay in a typical farming community. Hannali and Fanie were excelant hosts. The food was great. The room was very clean and good value for money. This venue is only 10km from an undiscovered hewel - the Wenen Nature Reserve. Try it, jou wont be dissapointed. Danie and Fransie Crous

Great house to spend time with the family! There is a lot of space for many activities with the cottage by the lake! The bedrooms and living room are also comfortable and cozy Gillian is also a great host who will make sure you feel welcomed
