Kosebu: The cozy cabin at Ustaoset

A charming cabin with electricity and hot water installed. Simple standard with a well-equipped kitchen, and three bedrooms with six beds. Scenic surroundings, between Hardangervidda and Hallingskarvet for skiing in winter and trekking during the summer. The cabin is about 1.5km from Ustaoset centre which has a grocery store, café, and train station. The road from the train station to the cabin is ploughed all through winter. There is parking, but also opportunities for a car-free holiday.

Skiing, dog-sleighing, rafting, bicycling, horse-back riding, bowling and hiking. The hut is on the doorstep of Hardangervidda National Park. Personalized interior. Accessible by car during summer, and winter on a snow-ploughed private road. 4x4 recommended during winter. Bed linen and towels included!

Hytta ligger 5 km vest for Ustaoset, ca. 100 meter fra rv 7. Vei helt opp som brøytes om vinteren. Det er fantastisk turterreng både sommer og vinter. Hytta er fra 1950. Den er blitt moderninsert, og bygget på i 2015. Det er fine uteplasser hvor dere kan nyte den fantastiske utsikten til Ustevann og Hardangervidda. En veloppdragen hund er velkommen. Gjester må ha med sengetøy og håndklær. Gjester må rydde før avreise, men kan velge å bruke vår faste hjelp til vasking (se nedenfor).

Velkommen til vår fantastisk hytte i hjertet av Geilo! Denne moderne hytten har tre soverom, to bad og sauna. Med sin sentrale beliggenhet er den ideell for både familier og vennegrupper som ønsker komfort og nærhet til alt Geilo har å by på. Senk skuldrene og slapp av i denne trivelige hytta i rolige omgivelser. Enkel standard med litt skjeve gulv og vegger. Ett soverom med en 120cm seng, samt en sovesofa i stua. Liker man å ligge tett er det plass til opptil 4. Det er bare en liten spasertur til langrennsløypa og nærmeste skiheis er kun 3,3 km unna. Og du, ikke kjøp drikkevann. Vi har, kanskje verdens beste, og reneste vann i springen :)

Hyggelig hytte på Ustaoset, 1,5 km fra Ustaoset stasjon og butikk. Hytten er ny og ble bygget i 2017. Den har tre soverom og en hems. Perfekt for 4-6 voksne + barn. Rett ved langrennsløyper om vinteren, og flotte turmuligheter sommer og høst. Bilvei helt frem og parkering til flere biler utenfor hytten. 10min i bil til Geilo som har bredt utvalg av aktiviteter både sommer og vinter.

This place is so amazing! You are surrounded with the most beautiful views in a picturesque Norwegian cottage. The open space design is very conducive for group dynamics. Kitchen is well stocked. Having 2 commodes is great. The driveway was very functional for 4 cars. We can’t wait to come back next year.

Vi har storkost oss paa hytta til Ingrid. Vi var med vaares fire barn og hunden vaar og staatt paa ski i Geilo. Alt var perfekt paa hytta til aa slappe av sammen og kose oss masse ❤️🩵❄️❄️

This is a wonderful cabin in a peaceful, secluded setting up a track, about a 20-minute drive from Geilo. The cabin itself is full of character and very well appointed, with everything you could need, including a well-equipped kitchen. Nina was a proactive and communicative host. We’ll certainly look to stay here again when we’re next in the area.

Wir waren zu zweit im Winter in Endres Hütte. Der Weg hinauf kann je nach Schneelage etwas knifflig sein für ein normales nordeutsches Auto, aber es wird auch geräumt. Mit den Anreiseinformationen kann man die Hütte gut finden, wenn man nur das Navi benutzt ist es nicht ganz einfach, da es eine neue Straßenführung gibt. Endre hat uns bei allen Fragen sehr gut und schnell geholfen, das war toll! Die Hütte ist sehr gemütlich, wirklich toll ausgestattet und alles ist wie beschrieben. Man merkt, dass sie vom Vermieter selbst auch bewohnt wird, sie hat Charme. Grad im Winter ist der Vorflur sehr praktisch, man kann seine Sachen trocknen und sich gut organisieren. Die Aussicht ist zu allen Seiten phantastisch, wir hatten Glück und konnten aus dem Schlafzimmer sogar Nordlicht beobachten. Die Hardangervidda und Geilo sind gut erreichbar, man kann viel unternehmen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, es war ein toller Aufenthalt!

Absolutely beautiful and modern mountain cabin. Cozy and with lots of amenities. Peaceful birch forest out the back windows, and incredible scenic views of the lake and ski area out the large front windows. Right beside a fun network of trails for hiking and biking. Would love to return some day.
