Large and cozy family cabin in Ustaoset

The cabin is located 5 km west of Ustaoset, about 100 meters from rv 7. Weigh all the way up, which is broken in the winter. There is amazing hiking terrain in both summer and winter. The cabin is from 1950. It has been modernly furnished, and built on in 2015. There are nice patios where you can enjoy the amazing view of Ustevann and Hardangervidda. A well behaved dog is welcome. Guests must bring linen and towels. Guests must tidy before departure, but can choose to use our firm laundry assistance (see below)

Mountain view is 1110 m above sea level and is a beautiful log cabin/staff cage at Haugastøl, with stunning panoramic views of Ustevann and Hardangervidda National Park. Hallingskarvet is seen to the North. It's the sun from early morning to late night The cabin has Rallarvegen and magically Hardangervidda as the closest neighbor. There is a short distance to Geilo and Ustaoset to the east, and Hardanger to the west. The cabin has nature right outside the door, and you can use the countless trails and trails in the area

A charming cabin with electricity and hot water installed. Simple standard with a well-equipped kitchen, and three bedrooms with six beds. Scenic surroundings, between Hardangervidda and Hallingskarvet for skiing in winter and trekking during the summer. The cabin is about 1.5km from Ustaoset centre which has a grocery store, café, and train station. The road from the train station to the cabin is ploughed all through winter. There is parking, but also opportunities for a car-free holiday.

You will find a bike rental at the start of the bike trail. The cabin has accommodation for maximum 8 persons.

Hiking - and fishing terrain easily accessible; a large network of ski slopes, bikes - and hiking trails. It is only 6 km up to the high mountain in Skarvheimen where you see Reineskarvet and Hallingkarvet. The cabin is by itself and it goes all the way. If you are enjoying quiet and scenic surroundings, it is worth taking the trip here.

Cozy little cottage on Geilo

Lower your shoulders and relax in this cozy cabin in quiet surroundings. Simple standard with slightly crooked floors and walls. One bedroom with a 120 cm bed, as well as a sofa bed in the living room. If you like to lie close, there is room for up to 4. There is only a short walk to the cross country trail and the nearest ski lift is only 3.3 km away. Oh, and don't buy drinking water. We have, maybe the world's best, and cleanest water in the tap :)

Cozy cottage on Ustaoset, 1,5 km from Ustaoset station and shop. The cabin is new and was built in 2017. It has 3 bedrooms and a loft. Perfect for 4-6 adults + child. Right by cross-country skiing in the winter, and great summer and fall hiking. Car road all the way and parking for several cars outside the cabin. 10min by car to Geilo which has a wide range of activities both summer and winter.

Very nice and functional cabin. Convenient and well equipped Kitchen. Two great bathrooms and large bedrooms with plenty of room. Slightly small terrace when we were five adults.

The kitchen showcases a dark cabinetry design with a large island featuring a white countertop. Modern appliances include two built-in ovens and an induction cooktop. Decorative tiles cover the floor, and the space opens to a dining area furnished with a lengthy table, enhancing the kitchen's inviting atmosphere.

This is a wonderful cabin in a peaceful, secluded setting up a track, about a 20-minute drive from Geilo. The cabin itself is full of character and very well appointed, with everything you could need, including a well-equipped kitchen. Nina was a proactive and communicative host. We’ll certainly look to stay here again when we’re next in the area.

Cozy cottage v Hardangervidda

There were two of us in Endre's hut in winter. The way up can be a bit tricky for a normal northern German car, depending on the snow conditions, but it is also cleared. With the arrival information you can find the cottage easily, if you only use the navigation system it is not quite easy, as there is a new road layout. Endre helped us very well and quickly with all questions, that was great! The cottage is very cozy, really well equipped and everything is as described. You can tell that it is also inhabited by the landlord himself, it has charm. In winter, the anteroom is very practical, you can dry your things and get organized. The views are fantastic on all sides, we were lucky and could even watch the Northern Lights from the bedroom. The Hardangervidda and Geilo are easily accessible, you can do a lot. We felt very comfortable, it was a great stay!

Absolutely beautiful and modern mountain cabin. Cozy and with lots of amenities. Peaceful birch forest out the back windows, and incredible scenic views of the lake and ski area out the large front windows. Right beside a fun network of trails for hiking and biking. Would love to return some day.

We had a wonderful stay at Heidi and Kristoffers beautiful cabin. Exquisite location with fabulous views, with great walking paths in close vicinity. They were fantastic hosts and responded immediately to all of our enquiries. We particularly loved the design and layout of the cabin, and felt very comfortable throughout the duration of our stay. We prepared big meals, and really made good use of they're kitchen (an italian in tow)... It should be noted that if you are having big meals be prepared to refill the water tank. For washing up and of course shower purposes. For us this added an extra charm and we really didn't mind refilling at the well just on the doorstep. My daughter loved assisting with the buckets. We had a fabulous 4 day break and found the cabin and it's amenities all very satisfying. As 3 adults, a labrador and a 5 year old, it really did tick all the boxes. Why are eager to return in future!
