We have a gym on the property equipment with weights, punching bags and everything you need for a good workout. The house is peaceful and modern with big ceilings and windows and has a comfortable open living floor plan. The house also has a washing machine, t.v, WiFi, and hot water heater for showering.

Rob’s place was honestly the best. It felt like a home away from home. The space was beautiful, spotless, and so welcoming, with a delicious breakfast (and lunch!) lovingly prepared by the amazing co-host, Linda. We truly appreciated her warmth and hospitality, and we’d come back in a heartbeat. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to feel at home while in Mwanza!

The house is very quiet and spacious. I was the only person in the house (it has three bedrooms) so I had the common area and kitchen to myself! Beautiful view from the balcony on the lake. Audax is super helpful and approachable and the area is lovely, with many small shops.

A stone pathway leads down through lush greenery, with a variety of trees and plants framing the scene. The sky is clear, and a glimpse of blue can be seen beyond the foliage, enhancing the natural ambiance of the outdoor space.

Gemma's place is wonderful. Best view out to Lake Victoria. Incredibly beautiful to sit on the big rocks and watch the fishermen sail out with their boats and put lights on their fishing nets every evening - so the lake looks like a full starry sky. We enjoyed both the beach and city life. Kastro, who is the manager of the place, is incredibly helpful and helped us arrange our further trip. the food is really delicious and the rooms are clean and nice with hot water. A great pleasure to stay here and we will definitely come back.

The hostel is so cozy, tastefully decorated and made me feel right at home. A quiet garden, perfect for relaxing. The staff help with everything and are mega likeable. The location is just outside the main hustle and bustle, but you can reach everything with a short Bajaji ride, and the tranquility is also very welcome. Everything was very flexible and unplanned to stay longer was not an issue. Sheru cooked for us, a fantastic meal! I can fully recommend Kiota Hostel!

Lilian’s place was awesome, a few minutes drive to Rock city mall and with good tarmac roads to the place. She is an amazing host, and was ready to assist. It was a favorite stay in Mwanza Thank you Lilian!

Treehouse B&B - Single Room

I had a lovely stay at The Treehouse. Winnie, Cecilia and Titus made me feel very welcome and safe. The room was perfect for my needs, the property was very clean & tidy, and all windows had mosquito netting (bed also had additional net). The veranda amongst the trees gives a lovely spot to watch the sunset and birds in the evening. I look forward to booking again next time I visit Mwanza. Asante Sana! 😊🙏
