Vacation rentals with lake access in Uppsala County

House is lovely. Mix of very old and some modern renovations. Sometimes more atmospheric than high standard. Location is artsy and great.

We felt welcome and at home in Spersbodahusen, nice days with hot baths, excursions, reading and game nights. Dark and rough in December but cozy with crackling fire in the evenings. The water in the tap is checked and quite ok but does not taste like in town, so a tip is to bring bottled water to drink if you are a little picky. Hans was very helpful, questions were answered quickly and kindly with great tips. We went to atmospheric Wira Bruk and had homemade food. We would be glad to come back!

We had an absolutely wonderful and relaxing stay at Susanna and Krister's listing. The decor was welcoming and beautifully curated. The outdoor spaces were little slices of heaven we were eager to enjoy. Susanna and Krister were lovely and attentive hosts and we would love to stay here again!

The house was beautiful and Jenny is a great host. We felt very comfortable and the house is very tastefully decorated with loving details. The surroundings are great, and you can walk to the small hamlet of Ulva to have a cup of coffee or browse one of the artisans. During our stay there was also a flea market and a vintage car club meets there regularly. It is very easy to get to Uppsala. Jenny was always helpful and quick to reach. A very attentive host

It corresponded to our expectation. The outdoor area is even more beautiful than in the pictures, in the backyard there was a trampoline that was not mentioned in the listing and it made my 3-year-old daughter's day happier. We slept very well, the weather was super pleasant. The walk to the beach is very quick and easy to find, I saw in other reviews that the access was difficult but we didn't agree with that. The only thing that stuck out was that we couldn't find anywhere to throw out the garbage, but we met Mia on the way and she said she could take care of it for us. So everything was perfect and we will return. Thanks Mia 🙏🏼❤️

We went to a concert in Sandviken and Veroniqa’s place was the closest to it in Gävle. Everything was in a walking distance, even the buses and the train stations so we had an easy time going to and from Sandviken! Her place was very clean and exactly like in the photos! She was also kind enough to pick us up from the station and show us everything in the apartment! She was very very kind and always responded fast🥰 If I ever go to Sweden again I would definitely like to stay at her apartment again💗

everything as expected, beatiful municipality

The appartment was very well-equipped and perfect for one person during a long stay (one month). Birgitta and Anders are nice and caring hosts; the communication was friendly and easygoing. Issues with the internet connection were shared and quickly resolved. Gribbylund is a lovely neighborhood and the appartement is only 5min from a beautiful lake (which was frozen when I arrived, adding to the overall area's appeal). Walk trails are also available nearby in Täby. Groceries can be done in Täby Centrum (around 40min by foot): a Lidl and KFC are at around the same distance. A ICA store is located closer but I did not check it out. As a note, the ceiling is not specifically soundproof, so bring earplugs if you are sensitive to occasional noise (the main house is located upstairs and the garage is at the door). nice clean accommodation in a very quiet environment with an amazing view of the lake. Refreshing and pleasant, we had a nice stay. the GPS does not know the address but Viktor provides the GPS point with which we can easily find the house. The stairs are very narrow so a little complicated with large suitcases but the entrance is wide enough to leave the suitcase there if necessary. Viktor is nice, very responsive and has good tips

What a fantastic place! We enjoyed it very much. Beautiful nature with a camping feeling. The cottage is rather small but very nice. And our daughters really enjoyed the separate guest house. The large garden with all its magical places is wonderful. Alex is a great host, always responded quickly and solved any problems. He even prepared the whirlpool for us. And his dog Audrey is adorable. We can highly recommend this accommodation and hope to come back one day. Thank you Alex!

We had a great time on the island. For us, a small family with two children, the small house was the perfect compromise between being in the city, but also having the possibility to be in nature. Michael was very friendly and helpful. The fact that we could use the canoe, was a very nice extra. It gave us the possibility to do something active rather than just being in the city of Stockholm. The ferry to the mainland, which is included in the public transport, was also nice for us to take. We had a very nice stay. Thanks Michael!

Nice house, very clean. A short walk will take you to the lake. For a convenient ride to Stockholm, Uppsala, and uppland for the runestones. It was a bit inconvenient that it was not allowed to smoke next to the cottage, but to the road (as instructed). The kitchen is completely up and coming

We had a wonderful time in the Archipelago and in this cozy home. We felt like at Home and enyoied the Garden a lot. Total recommend! :-)

We spent a relaxing long weekend at the cabin with our 2 small dogs and cat. The cabin was clean and comfortable, and had plenty of cooking tools. I appreciated that heaters were already set up in the cabin and toilet so that they were cozy for our arrival! We enjoyed walking around the area, seeing the birds and enjoying the views over the open farmland. I can definitely recommend this place for a short getaway. Mattias and Yvette were responsive and friendly, including helping mail my keys to me when I forgot them. All in all, this rental was a great experience.

The two nights in the small cottage were just perfect. The cabin was clean, well equipped + very cozy and homey! The surroundings were extremely quiet and the nature was just beautiful. If we had any questions, we could contact Maria. All in all highly recommended!

Really nice cosy cottage at almost at the end of Yxlan. Cat highly recommended as it's far to shops. This is a great family getaway location for a long weekend. Very peaceful, about 1km walk to the wild cliff seaside through the forest. Karin was super nice, very accommodating and answered everything quickly. Loved this stay.
