Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Upper Peninsula of Michigan

Awesome spot! The house has great spots to hang out outdoors in nice weather, and cozy places inside when Mother Nature doesn’t cooperate. Everything you’d expect to have is there, plus more (functional pizza oven, speakers, dog supplies). Located a few minutes from Grand Marais, set back up the hill in the woods with views of the lake. Would have loved to stay longer :)

Our honeymoon stay at the Bakery Bungalow was beyond enchanted! When we arrived it was hard to describe how tickled we were at our delightful and tasty lodgings, with the decorations and interior design that showed the loving host who was behind the scenes! When we arrived there were muffins waiting for us, the next day there was a delivery of banana bread, and the final day was a memento of our stay! If one cannot figure out what I mean in the last three paragraphs, the bottom line is: BOOK THIS BUNGALOW!

My sisters & I were in Ontonagon due to a death. I mention because SH Steve was kind & compassionate as we struggled to plan dates! The home was beautiful and really clean. Our stay was comfortable & easy and helped us navigate a sad & difficult family time. And our trip home at the end will mark our final 14hr drive to the beautiful UP. We're city girls!! But I definitely recommend Steve's Sweet Spot for anyone who loves the great outdoors and enjoys the comforts of home!! 5 stars all around!!

What a delightful little home this was, absolute a labour of love. Exceptionally clean and overwhelming stocked with condiments, teas and coffees and extensive selection of shampoos and soap. An ideal home for a peaceful and quiet break from every day life.

The cabin was super clean, and you can tell every detail was thoughtfully planned out. We enjoyed using the backyard for a bonfire and the fully equipped kitchen to make dinners. There is a small golf course about 15 minutes from the house, which we also enjoyed. While this cabin is on the smaller side, the inside feels spacious, and the outdoors definitely makes up for it!

Great stay! Rachel was communicative and check in was easy. About a 20 minute walk to all the major shops and Ore Dock, less than that to Blackrocks. Cute space! Comfortable and clean. We stayed for a few nights after a 6 day primitive camping trip, so the clean bathroom and washer/drier were wonderful to have! Additionally, our dogs are getting old and we try to take them on as many of our vacations as we can, so the dog friendliness was appreciated. Would absolutely recommend!

This place was wonderful! It’s easy to feel right at home and its location is perfect! There are food places that are walkable and is near a dollar general for any last minute snacks or other needs. It’s also incredibly close to a ferry that takes you to Mackinac Island so there’s no need to pay extra for parking. The place is clean and comfortable after a long day of fun!

We had an amazing visit at Rich’s place. It was perfect for our first time in the upper peninsula of MI. The location was perfect for all that we wanted to do. It was great being so close to beach, Munising, Pictured Rock National Lakeshore and amazing views of Lake Superior. After a long day exploring in the cool weather it was great coming back to a warm place that had a nice fireplace going. We definitely have a lot more to still explore and hope to be back! Highly recommend this great, convenient and comfortable spot!

Viv greeted us in person the evening we arrived. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, used the charcoal grill each evening, and slept well on the very comfortable mattress.

What a wonderful cozy spot to stay in Marquette! My family (kiddos + pup) were right at home here and had plenty of room to relax in Alexandra’s place. The location is excellent - walking distance to the waterfront, farmers market and many coffee shops, bookstores, breweries. We will be back for sure!

The cutest apartment and very clean. Within walking distance to attractions and restaurants, but still just a little tucked away and private.

Great place for big families, host was very responsive and condo is in a great location. Our only comment is that the condo can potentially hold 14 but there are only 2 bathrooms and one is in the master bedroom so a little hard for everyone to access at all times, other than that a great place and kitchen is fully equipped.

This was our second year staying at David’s place and we would definitely come back again. Great location and nice accommodations

We enjoyed spending the weekend at Anna’s place! A few of us took part in the Superior Spring Trail Run, it was the perfect home base for our active weekend. Comfortable, clean and a wonderful view. We also enjoyed the hot tub and sauna on site. We would definitely stay again.

The best New Years Eve experience with Yana and Jim! They were incredibly responsive and welcoming. Anything we needed or any question we had was taken care of very quickly. Perfect Midwest hospitality. Will be coming back!

Great location with ski in ski out. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, plates, and Tupperware. I'm sure our group will be staying here again in the future.

north vacation rentals was super easy to work with. communicated very clearly and quick to respond. the hot tub was great, but was shared with the unit next to us (no one booked that one during my stay so we had it to ourselves)

We loved this place, it was perfect decor our skiing weekend as it was only 10 minutes from nubs nob. The place was spotless and beautiful, we would definitely come back!!
