Self catered private apartment in absolute perfect location for exploring Skye. The flat is gorgeous, modern while having a traditional Highland feel and comfortably sleeps 2 people in the bedroom or sofa bed can be used to create 2 separate sleeping areas. Our one bedroom apartment is ideally situated 8 miles from Portree on the Isle of Skye. With it's seaside location and beautiful sea and mountain views, it's an ideal base for your stay on Skye. Our rural location is peaceful and relaxing with a lovely beach a 10 minute walk way but only a 15 minute drive to the shops, restaurants and bars in Portree. There is a sofa bed in the lounge so the apartment can accommodate up to 4 adults. We can also provide a cot and highchair.

Excellent location to enjoy all the best of Skye. It was so fun to wake up each morning and see the neighboring sheep outside the many windows of this beautifully constructed cottage. Easy access to restaurants and shops—-just make sure to have reservations for dinner during the busy months! Jim is a great host. Don’t hesitate to book this lovely stay.

We had the most enjoyable four day stay at Alison’s loft; warm, comfortable, well equipped and in the most peaceful surroundings in a stunning landscape. Waking up to the cuckoo calling every morning was an added bonus. The welcome basket of milk, bread and local beer was well received! A definite 5-star stay.

My wife and I were touring Scotland on our honeymoon - we used this place as a rest stop to prepare us to tour the isle of skye the next day. It was a great location and very peaceful. The host was super nice and provided us with a good breakfast to start our day off. She greeted us when we arrived and was super friendly. This was one of our favorite stays - I would highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Douglas and Helen's place. The property was spacious, modern and inviting. Everything was super well stocked and there were lots of little touches like having binoculars and the welcome hamper that made it feel very welcoming! It was easy to walk to Portree and a great base for a week on Skye. Douglas and Helen gave us some great tips including directing us to a memorable meal at Loch Bay. Highly recommended, hopefully we'll be back one day for another memorable week in the fantastic beauty of Skye.

Lesley’s cabin was absolutely amazing. Clean, spatious and has lots of useful amenities. The views are also stunning! We really enjoyed our three-night stay here and would 100% recommend this place to anyone who is visiting the Isle of Skye!!

What else is there to say than WOW! This place is really amazing. The house is brand new and the cleanest we have ever seen. Its beatiful decorated and the view........ Below at the shore you can see seals swimming and floting. Restaurants nearby for a nice dinner and close to all attractions on Skye. Highly recommend this lovely house.
