This is a walk-out basement with two private entrances, and it’s own private outside area. The patio has comfy furniture with a bbq. The kitchen is small, yet efficient with large windows. The bedroom is cozy and comfy with a large smart tv on the wall. The bedroom has a 3/4 wall dividing it from the rest of the apt, but no actual door. So it could be considered a “studio”. We are steps from the trail heads into Blue Mt park. We’re also walking distance to the metro north & downtown.

The personal touches throughout the space made it truly special. It’s clear the hosts put their heart into every corner of this home and garden. My bedroom was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. I can not thank my host Claudia enough for her warmth and kindness. I immediately felt welcomed and at home. I had one very long day at a training and didn’t return until after dark. It was such an incredible relief to get “home” and see Claudia.

We booked the place for a short trip to attend a family members funeral service in the area. I spent many summers and Christmas's around Croton-on-Hudson, Buchanan and Ossining areas. The area was peaceful and beautiful with lots of activities to do. Laura was very responsive and helpful with suggestions and offered her condolences for our loss. I would definitely recommend this place and will stay again hopefully one day.

The suite was just as described: picturesque location close to town and shops/restaurant and also within walking distance of the rail station. The suite itself was cozy, comfortable, clean and quiet. Surrounding trees and flowers made for perfect setting for morning coffees on the deck. I drove a sedan and could park in the driveway. Thanks Gretchen for leaving such a detailed binder, clear instructions and interesting historical library about Ossining. This place is a jewel and would be happy to return.
