Access to the tree house can be conducted by phone so you don't meet anyone. All contact surfaces are cleaned using dettol wipes and linen is washed at 60 deg. This is a real tree house, fully insulated, 6m off the ground. It faces south with views of the city. It is situated in our garden but screened by trees giving privacy. It consists of a bedroom with a deck at the top level and a bathroom on the level below. Cork city centre is a 5 min. walk. Access to the city is via a STEEP HILL.

Set on 2 acres of lush gardens, this tiny house is a peaceful oasis. Though tiny, it has all you need! The stay at Roy's place was easy, friendly, healing and fun. Roy is a great host, and has a broad knowledge of plants and horticulture. It was a beautiful, healing and restorative place to stay. I wish we had more time there and will likely add this location to our Autumn trip. Roy's place is a wonderful place to stay, learn and rest.

This place was absolutely spectacular! The house itself is beautiful and offers breathtaking views – even better than the photos. It’s located right in the heart of town, just a short walk from the train station, but still incredibly peaceful and quiet. Sam was an outstanding host: thoughtful, welcoming, and full of genuinely helpful tips for exploring the area. You can tell he really cares about his guests. My room (and the bathroom) was spotless and very comfortable. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay – I would come back in a heartbeat!
