Hotel vacation rentals in Union Square, San Francisco

Hotel Des Arts was an amazing experience. The area it’s located in has many restaurants to try as well as multiple forms of transportation really close by. The hotel gives a relaxed quiet atmosphere which is exactly what we needed. I will say that the check in and check out instruction are a bit time consuming and scattered. I recommend you summarize the most important information in one text so it won’t be too confusing once check in/out approaches. Overall, this hotel is a beautiful place to stay, the rooms are comfortable and artistic, and it’s in a great area.

We were so pleased with our accommodations at Club Donatello. The beds were super comfortable with awesome sheets. It was very quiet, day and night, and the entire room - the entire hotel, actually - was immaculate. Although Covid restrictions meant no coffee was being served on the club level, it was unexpectedly lovely up there with a large wrap-around terrace. Meimei was extremely responsive and helpful. I have already recommended this airbnb to friends and definitely plan to be back.

Exactly as advertised and great value. Randi reached out before my trip and was easy to get a hold of in case I needed anything, but it wasn’t necessary!

Stayed here on a short business trip. The hotel was very quiet, bed comfortable, and the bathroom had nice hot water! This is an old-style boutique hotel. Has charming features such as an original elevator and doors with physical keys. A nice communal area that has kitchenette facilities was also good. I don’t think you could find better value in this area for a place to sleep.

This place is very quaint and also in a good central location to get buses and food. We enjoyed the responsiveness of the host since we had some issues with our toilet flushing, and the cleaning staff was also very nice. They also provided a good amount of amenities that made things easier, like soap and plastic forks, even water in the room and the lobby. I would recommend people to stay here. The room is definitely older, but we had a pleasant stay.

We have visited SF innumerable times over the last 20 years, and this was the best rental experience to date because of the views, walkability, sleeping and living spaces, and kitchen. We have a baby and dog, and we drove in — so the allotted parking space was convenient and valuable. The host is proactively engaging and responsive to inquiries. We weren’t missing anything. We visited for a wedding weekend and needed to rest and nurse a hangover on Sunday, and the expansive views and walkability to healthy food plus big TV aided in a quick recovery! When we first arrived, baby immediately got in the bathtub, and we were able to get settled in with the living and sleeping spaces and kitchen the kitchen organized while she played. Everyone was friendly, and we felt safe despite being in the crowd of fisherman’s wharf — we kept gawking at the Ferris wheel. And we were able to hop aboard a random boat ride because we were so close!

This is for a room at the WorldMark hotel, which is a timeshare, but there was no hard pitch from the employees. Clean space with a microwave, mini fridge, and sink, plus plates, bowls, silverware, and napkins. Very close to Union Square and lots of restaurants, and less than a mile walk to Salesforce Millennium Tower (which is why I booked it). Internet is extra ($5 for two devices for a day, and multi-day offers). Sanford was responsive and helpful. I would stay here again.

I lucked out finding this listing when I did! Wanted to stay the night in the city after the GN tour (Kendrick Lamar & Sza) and hotels were either full or too much. Decided to try airbnb for the first time and was surprised to find a listing for this room. I'd heard Hotel Fiona renovated awhile ago but living so close to the city, I don't usually think about getting a hotel for a staycation or anything. Glad I was able to check it out. Rooms are really nice and clean. Don't have to worry about dirty feet from gross, dirty carpets- bare floors 👏🏽 Front desk guy was nice and friendly, as was the girl who was on shift around 11pm Thursday after the concert. Definitely recommend booking this listing.

We stayed two nights to attend a Coldplay concert out in. Our stay was very pleasant. The team was friendly, and attended us in a timely manner. We had no issues. The bed was soo comfy! Definitely would stay here again in the future :).

Had a lovely stay in the Grand Bay Hotel. The area is beautiful and the amenities are great. A welcome break from the hustle and bustle.

Nice stay for just the night!

Very cozy rooms at a great price. The breakfast was tasty and offered some variety. Coffee wasn’t the best, but still pretty good—and they also had free pod-style coffee in the room, which was decent. The pool was very nice and clean, a great spot to relax. We didn’t use the gym, but it looked decent and well-maintained. The location is a big plus: close to downtown, which is beautiful, with lots of shops, restaurants, and cafes within walking distance. Overall, a great experience!

Great space and location. Convenient and safe, the staff was amazing. The only thing to note is there is no door separating the rooms and common area of the space. So keep that in mind if there is an expectation of privacy.

Erin's place was unique, charming and spacious. The location was private and close to lots of restaurants - we especially enjoyed the walk to 4th Street for dinner. Highly recommend!

Room matches the description and was much larger than I thought it would be! No hidden fees like the rest of San Fran were charging me and parking cost were reasonable. Kalven was very reassuring and helped guide me through the process of booking his place. Thank you for a lovely stay mate, appreciate it!

The place was perfect for us, the value was a great deal, the employees are very friendly and they work hard to make you feel comfortable. The food is healthy and delicious. We have a great time here, as guests. This is a 100% vacation place.

The host and co-hosts are helpful and responsive. The stay was comfortable and all the amenities listed were provided. The front desk receptionists were open to questions and has provided helpful information on how to navigate the area and spots to check out.

A great stay for a solo trip in San Francisco. This place used to be an elderly home and still has many elderly residents, creating a peaceful and friendly atmosphere. The room is lovely, with all the amenities as described. The free breakfast is absolutely amazing, feeling just like ordering from a decent café. The residence is located in Japantown, with plenty of Japanese restaurants nearby.

Stay was good and very comfortable. You are free to cook the food of your choice if you follow proper kitchen instructions. Place os easily accessible and surrounding area is also good and have some spectacular tourist places nearby.
