Beachfront vacation rentals in Union Bay

I stayed at Lauri's place for a week while working remotely, and it was exactly what I needed. The deck offers a great view - perfect for morning coffee or unwinding in the evening. The area is quiet and peaceful, I could really focus during the day and relax afterwards. Even though it wasn't a vacation, I left feeling recharged. The cabin, though small, was well-equipped and comfortable, and the natural beauty around made it a memorable experience.

We had a great experience staying at Kat and Pierce‘s place in Ucluelet. Everything was easy to find: the property, getting in, and the appliances. Very cool location in a row of landlocked cottages. The area was busy with fellow travelers and the walk to the beach was about 20 to 25 minutes. There was one parking spot with additional parking down the lane. The cabin was cozy for two people. Great hosts, good communication, and nice property.

Everything was great! Bob was a fantastic host and the suite was very well equipped.

What an amazing place! All the amenities you’d like, close to the village but my god, what an amazing location!!! 🤩 The sunset over the bay, the sunrise, the eagles and other birds calling… Simply breathtaking, we couldn’t get enough of it! The hosts are very responsive, helpful and friendly. Strongly recommended!!!

This spot is so beautiful. It has everything. The view is amazing, there’s a work out room, kayaks, hot tub, trampoline. We hope to return !

Our stay at this Airbnb of Ronan and Alex was absolutely wonderful! The location was unbeatable – just a short walk to the beach, which made for some truly beautiful and relaxing moments. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot. The amenities were very good – everything we needed was provided, and the place was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. It really felt like a cozy and welcoming home base. The host was also great – communicative, helpful, and thoughtful throughout our stay. Also they went out of their way to help us and that speaks volumes of their commitment to help and make this feel like - HOME AWAY FROM HOME ! We had such a memorable experience and would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway. We’d definitely love to return in the future!

Gill and Sue are fantastic hosts, they are very friendly, responsive, helpful and proactive in their communication. Their cabin is just fantastic and located within a beautiful area, literallyon the beach front. "Sleeping under the stars" was a very apecial treat. When we can, we will definately be back. Fabulous place in wonderful Ukee. Matt’s townhouse looked just like the photos, with a charming deck overlooking a small inlet, with comfy furniture throughout and plenty of plates, bowls and cutlery. A massive TV and soundbar are great additions and we had more than enough to keep the family entertained. An easy walk into the town to enjoy the Uclulelet Brewing Co (a favourite)and other restaurants. Also an easy drive to the walks in Pacific Rim Park. A really great place and we loved our stay. 5* all round.

What a beautiful location! From early sunrise quiet times with coffee to sunset dinners on the patio, everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Quiet, comfortable, thoughtfully- and well-appointed. I would, without hesitation, return for a future stay.

Enjoyed the privacy of the unit and the beauty of Pacific Shores Resort. The kitchen was well equipped with lots of dishes and pots and pans. Heidi communicated well with good information.

We had a great time. The pool and hot tub were perfect, and the cabin is cute. The setting is amazing and Sally and Dale were very helpful and nice. This is the perfect little vacation for a family with young children - it felt like a tropical vacation when we were in the pool in May. Thank you!

Beautiful apartment with a really nice unobstructed sea view. Everything just like in the photos, clean and lots of natural light. I really enjoyed the beautiful bathroom…very nicely done. The bed is huge and very comfy as well. The view from the rooms and balconies is exceptional and really lovely. The whole property is really nice and well maintained. Especially enjoyed the bbq areas and fireplaces in the common areas. Communication was very good and check in instructions easy and clear. Overall we had a lovely stay and I would recommend to anyone looking to enjoy the sea and nature of Vancouver Island. You would definitely need a car there, as there is not so much to do in a walking distance. Closes town is approx. 5 - 10 min. Drive. Ferry in Nanaimo about 20-30 minutes. Very convenient!

Staying with Chelsea’s place was a pleasure. The location was perfect, the home was cozy and clean, and lots of activities to do. We are planning to go back next year. Highly recommended!

We had a magical stay at the Beach House. Being able to walk barefoot right onto the beach was so special to us. When it rained we were still able to open the panel of patio doors to maximize our time with the beautiful landscape. Just a stunning place to stay. The Host was very responsive and wonderful to work with. The space was immaculate, cozy and had everything we needed!

Beautiful oceanfront condo! The place was spotless and had everything my family needed for our stay. Quiet location and everyone around the property was so friendly. Would recommend treating yourself and staying at Ambers place :)

Tania’s cabin felt like going home, but with the added bonus of being located on a beautiful, private section of lake overlooking provincial park land. We couldn’t have asked for a better location to enjoy the lake and nearby trail systems. Directly behind the cabin is a steep, paved pathway down to the dock and beach - both were hands down the highlight of our stay - spacious and set up for relaxing, while also acting as a launch point for paddle boards and kayaks. The cabin was also incredibly comfortable for our dogs - Tania added thoughtful touches just for them including comfy beds, treats, and towels. I especially appreciated the large, working grill on the back deck overlooking the water. This made meal prep easy and an absolute joy. We will be back!

Right by the ocean, easy access by car or bike. Beautiful gardens, well stocked kitchen, comfy bed. I loved the fireplace and blankets, made it extra cozy after rainy days.

Hello, My friend and I stayed there 2 days. The place is so peaceful and has everything you might need. They, hosts, were really friendly and helpful for us. Whenever we ask something, they respond really quickly. We didn’t face any issues either home or hosts. Also, we would love to stay there in summer again, i am sure the place will be more beautiful. I highly recommend this place to anyone who looking for accommodation in this area.

Kim’s place on the beach was exactly what the doctor ordered, quiet, peaceful and private, well appointed with a pile of extras that were beyond expectations but deeply appreciated. Beds were comfy and the place was impeccably clean on arrival. The deck had an awesome view of the ocean and there was abundant wildlife present, we had an excellent stay, the only complaint was that we didn’t book for longer… will definitely book a stay again, feeling like this might be the new favorite spot….

We had such a lovely weekend at Lauren’s place.. The location couldn’t have been more perfect with its stunning ocean views. The home itself was clean, well-stocked, and beautifully designed for relaxation. It felt like a true getaway. Lauren was responsive and kind, allowed us to check-in earlier because we have a young baby. We’re already thinking about coming back for a longer stay!

The perfect stay. Easily among the top Airbnbs I've ever stayed in, and probably #1 for absolutely gorgeous surroundings. I can't say enough good things about this place. I've never stayed at the same Airbnb twice as I like to try new places but definitely would stay here again in a heartbeat.
