We stayed in the SAPPHIRE room at gems villa. It was a clean, well kept place. Beautiful surroundings, breathtaking view from the room. Food is good too. The villa is almost 10-12km from main mahabaleshwar. Theres a small patch of path leading to the villa that gets tough to ride on a bike if it's heavy monsoon, except that the road is good. The caretakers are nice as well. Overall, definitely recommend this place.

Vitthal Sir was a wonderful host at their homestay, making the experience feel truly homely rather than just another stay. The place is surrounded by natural beauty, with plenty of trees and birds all around.

We had a great stay at Mountain retreat. The location is just right - not very far from the Mahabaleshwar city centre (about 15 minutes) and yet nicely secluded. The place is spacious, clean, and comfortable. We were quite surprised by the fact that even the 1BHK had two washrooms, which was very convenient. It also has a nice private lawn at the backyard and front yard, with some chairs and table for a sit-out. It’s well-maintained with beautiful lighting, so overall a great place to unwind in the evening for a drink or two or even chai! We were lucky to get a full-moon view from the garden on the first night of our stay. There are caretakers, cooks, and maids at the property, all of whom are very responsive and prompt. You can also get home cooked food, which is delicious and reasonably priced. The host Himanshu is super responsive and promptly answered all our queries and solved our problems. Overall a great, value-for-money place to stay - would definitely recommend!

This villa is a gem! The views are truly incredible, and the location couldn't be more perfect for getting around and seeing the sights. The property was clean and very well-maintained. We loved our time here and would definitely book again. Highly recommended!"
