Family-friendly vacation rentals in Ubud

Realllllllllllly awesome place to stay. We enjoyed our time immensely. Ketut was a wonderful host and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We had a super late flight and she made sure she was available for us on arrival which I we were so grateful for. Breakfast daily was yummy! She also arranged a traditional Balinese massage for my husband in the room and it was INCREDIBLE! Highly highly recommend!

Nyoman has been a fantastic Host, he and his family were willing to help at anytime even with the luggage! The lady who brings the breakfast was always very friendly and helpful smiling all time. The surrounding area is really very good with everything you need just a few meters like money change, renting a bike or even a Laundry shop! I recommend to rent a bike from the Nyoman’s brother who is just next door and discover Ubud and surrounding area. I have really no negative points at all. Everything was perfect and exactly like the photos! Definitely gonna book it again or recommend it to other friends.

We really fell in love with this beautiful villa! Everything is there to charm you: a beautiful room overlooking a pool and breathtaking views of the rice field. This outdoor experience allows you to completely disconnect, get away from the crowds and traffic of Ubud. Even if it's not in the center, there is no shortage of very good addresses, especially restaurants and spas. A little extra for Shesha, Kadek's sister, who was really lovely to us. Very accommodating and always smiling, it was a real pleasure when she came to bring us breakfast. Our communication was also perfect with Kadek before our arrival. Hosts also offer services such as airport transfers or scooter rentals, which is very nice. We will come back without hesitation if we are in Bali again!

Wayan is a wonderful host. He is super helpful and takes care of everything. He got us a scooter and also made us breakfast. The apartment is super clean and a dream. The view of the rice fields is magnificent. Likewise, the whole property with the pool. It is one of the best Air BnBs and really deserves to get 5 points. For Bali, it's clearly a bit more expensive, but it's worth the money. I highly recommend this place and Wayan 100%. He also gives many tips on what to see in the area, where there are not so many tourists. I am happy to recommend this Airbnb. Since I myself am a host of 40 Air BnBs in Switzerland, I can only say that everything has been thought of here. Just perfect and nothing to complain about. Keep it up!

Oki's place is a great pick if you want to stay in Ubud and explore the usual tourist spots since it's half an hour away from Ubud Palace, Saraswati temple, etc. Even though the hosts had a personal emergency, he made it a point to check in with us from the point we landed to our last day, highly appreciate the level of professionalism displayed. Also they helped us with all our bookings be it the cab, ATV ride and were super prompt in their responses. There is a cafe that is 300m from the place which is highly rated and has great vegan options (their hummus is a must try!). Would highly recommend this place.

We had a great time staying here for 4 days. You need to walk 3-4 mins from the main road (where you can park your scooter if renting one) to get here but the walk is beautiful and surrounding is very peaceful. Tria and her brother helped us with our luggage at arrival and departure. It was great to wake up to the sounds of chirping of birds in the morning. The place is also very close to central Ubud area. We could easily walk there on our first day and rented a scooter to explore more areas for rest of the days.

A fantastic stay at Marcos villa! Location is absolutely scenic. Beautiful views from every room. Rooms were quite spacious with outdoor bathrooms. Pool was gorgeous, my kids spent a lot of time in the pool. Delicious breakfast served every day and catered to my family of veg and non-vegetarians. Very well-maintained property. Special mention to Wayan and his family for taking such good care of us. Specially my old parents. Absolute gem of a person. Very grateful to have met such loving and kind people, thanks again Wayan for organising everything, especially the floating breakfast for my mother in laws 70th! Highly recommend this property. Marco has been very responsive and helpful.

Very comfortable & clean room. Friendly & helpful personnel. Had a restful night there. Central but quite location. Few meters away from Alchemy center, Dragon tea temple & waroeng Bernadette. Strongly recommend it & would definitely come back !

Thank you, Made. This accommodation was everything we could need for a comfortable one-month stay in Ubud. We cook a lot and really enjoyed the outdoor kitchen. When there was an issue with one of the appliances, Made helped us with another option. We received regular housekeeping with fresh flowers and refills on water. The house is very clean, has beautiful decor and we loved walking to quiet nearby coffee shops in the rice fields. Made’s Son, Konek drove us from the airport and both he and Made helped us get our bags to the house via scooter. We also hired Konek to drive us to other parts of the island. He is a terrific driver. We really enjoyed getting to know him and recommend him highly, just as we recommend this accommodation for anyone looking for a lovely place to stay in Ubud. We would feel fortunate to be able to stay again. :)

Our stay was wonderful. Our property manager, Agus, was responsive and helpful. The villa was peaceful, as described, and quiet. It is a longish walk to the actual villa, and no parking, except in a designated parking area about 200 metres away, but this was not a problem for us. On arrival we were greeted and our suitcases were carried to the villa for us, the same as on departure. Wonderful service. Great restaurants all up and down the gang and a small local shop to buy drinks. Would stay again for sure.

Every now and then you find a gem, this is one. Set in a magical setting with rainforest/ jungle around you. The hostess Ayu was so helpful and available all the time. The best villa we have ever stayed at. Outdoor showers, beautiful pool, lovely kitchen and outdoor area. Easy into town, eateries all within walking distance.

Your place was extremely good and your hospitality even more better. I’ll definitely be coming back to Bali just to experience ubud and Balinese architecture and village life.

Azzuri and her team were great hosts. They were always super helpful with things like organising scooters, taxis, helping with transporting our luggage etc. The place is tucked away from the busy streets, which was absolutely what we needed. It was great hanging out by or in the pool all day!

Summer Moon is heaven on earth. The villa is well appointed, spacious, and the decor is simply beautiful. The hosts and staff are professional, friendly, kind, helpful and amazing in every way, providing us with the full Bali welcoming and experience. The Summer Moon team responded promptly throughout our stay. We were celebrating a special occasion and they made it even that more special. Meals prepared at the villa were prepared with high quality ingredients by experienced chefs that presented beautiful and delicious Indonesian food prepared with love and care. Nyoman, our driver, was so kind, helpful and the best driver to drive us to beautiful restaurants, attractions and shops. He took us to places we would have never known about. He was a pleasure to talk with about his culture and life in Bali. Spending the day with him was extra special. We truly enjoyed our experience at Summer Moon and hope we are blessed enough to return one day. Thank you so much.

Ayu and Ketut are wonderful hosts. The place is as described and the jungle view from the room is unbeatable. You are surrounded by nature and it’s powerful. It’s close to Ubud centre as well as local restaurants and minimart is 10 minutes walking distance. It’s usually very quiet, and waking up to the sound of nature, watching squirrels and birds right from your patio is an experience you don’t wanna miss.Side note: during the day there’s nearby construction works on Suweta street currently, the noise carries through the whole road, but might finish soon, just something to be mentioned.still, this place is a little paradise especially if you’re looking for an escape from hustle of Ubud center yet just a few minutes away by moto. You can easily explore rice fields up north towards Tegallalang from here.

Masterclass. Since retiring, we have managed to come to Ubud from Sydney almost every year. Two-bedroom villas, here in Penestanan, are always our first choice. The area’s peaceful, pedestrian-friendly pathways are unique. And safe. We’ve stayed in many of the villas nearby, and this one is truly exceptional. The design and layout work so well; the pool is always an inviting temperature; the appliances, the tableware, linen and fixtures are top quality. Everything works beautifully. The garden is manicured to perfection. The people who manage and maintain the villa are lovely, and they are truly dedicated to making your stay as comfortable as possible. They could run a Masterclass in hospitality. So, if you are browsing reviews of Ubud accomodation, and still undecided, you can believe what AirBNB says about Kunang Kunang villa: “This is a rare find. Book soon.”

Very well located! Quiet, it's very soothing and you feel alone in the middle of nature. The Studio matches the photos well! And the people who take care of the studio and us are very responsive and very kind! Recommended if you want to recharge. Far from the hustle and bustle of Ubud but at the same time next door. Very accessible and easy to get to. You'll love it!

Putu and his team were absolutely amazing! Not only was the place beautiful, but Putu was so helpful when it came to food, transportation, and activities to do. The food was absolutely amazing, our rooms were cleaned everyday, and we never had an issue with transportation. Lastly, coming from North America, it was very refreshing to see that we could also pay with card and not just rupiah. I highly recommend staying in Ubud at this Villa

Yande was an amazing host. Myself and some friends had a bachelor party for my brother at the Villa and had an amazing time. We got accommodations to go on an ATV trip the day before and Yande was constantly in communication and got the trip booked without any issues. The other staff were amazing as well, everyone knew our names after the first hour of being there and made us all feel at home. The property itself was beautiful, seclude, and welcoming. However the staff is really what made the stay amazing. Thanks for putting up with us Yande we appreciate everything!

The property is awesome. Very spacious and beautiful, with a view of rice fields all around. For people who want a peaceful place, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is it! Dont look any further. Mr. Ngakan was super-helpful - got us whatever we needed, including local transport, helped us plan for sightseeing. His wife made us a delicious dinner spread. The breakfast that was included in the package was awesome as well. Probably one of my best airbnb experiences. 10 on 10.

We had a great time! The host was very welcoming, always smiling and responded very quickly to messages. The accommodation and the outside fully met our expectations. Breakfast was excellent and we had a kitchenette and drinking water directly in the room which is a real plus. The location was great, close to very good restaurants. I would highly recommend it.
