Our cozy B&B located on the Spanjaardslaan. One of the most beautiful streets of Leeuwarden. In three minutes you walk through the Prinsentuin to the center of the historic city of Leeuwarden. The guest house is located behind the house from 1906 and has a private entrance, a living room, kitchen and 2 bedrooms. The guesthouse is completely self-sufficient. Due to the combination with the cozy living room and kitchen, the guest house is ideal for a family or group of four friends.

You have a private entrance and the Woodpecker has two spacious bedrooms, both with a private shower and toilet. The kitchen is equipped with all the basic comforts. The bungalow can accommodate up to 4 people. Woodpecker Leeuwarden can also be booked through its own site. We're entering the last season to start over somewhere else. Leeuwarden is 'by far' the prettiest city of the Netherlands! And it's only a 3 minutes walk to the city center. This 100 year old, cute house is located in the peaceful and quiet Vossenparkwijk. The 2 city parks Prinsentuin and Vossenpark are around the corner and you can almost see the famous Tower of the Oldenhove from the garden. Relax in the backyard with a cup of tea or go out for dinner in one of the very good restaurants in the city! Enjoy!

A very nice and clean place to stay. There was everything you needed. The location is great too. The landlords were very helpful and nice. Definitely recommended!

Spacious house, neat and easily accessible. In principle, everything you can think of is there. The owners also live there a few days a month, which makes them also have their belongings there, but in no way is that an annoyance or a downside in any way. Practically around the corner you have shops (from AH to Kruidvat) and you are also in the center of Leeuwarden in no time to shop. Contact is easy and fast. Very friendly and thoughtful in possibilities/wishes.

We enjoyed our stay at the windmill while we were visiting Friesland. The location worked great for trips into Leeuwarden along with surrounding areas. The e-bikes were one of our highlights of this stay - we did a ride through Leeuwarden out to Deinum and Boksum which was amazing. Would recommend staying here as a solo or couple traveller.

On first impression, we were super impressed with the apartment as soon as we walked in. The place was very well supplied and very well decorated and inviting. We loved the big windows and with being on the second floor, we had wonderful views of the canal and all the activity in the area. The restaurants we went to were all excellent, especially Pompeii’s. Be sure to bring ear plugs as the noise from outside carries right into the apartment. We both commented that this apartment would be a place we’d be happy living in long term.

Reinoud's place is a nice retreat to relax for a weekend! Very nice surroundings, idyllic marina in front of the house, absolutely sufficient equipment (great that not only a few counted pieces of dishes were available), Wi-Fi stable, beds comfortable. We had a really good time!
