We had an absolutely amazing stay in Veggli. The cabin was nestled in the beautiful mountains, providing a peaceful and scenic escape. One of the biggest highlights of our trip was witnessing the northern lights dancing across the sky, an unforgettable experience. We also had so much fun playing in the snow, exploring the winter wonderland right outside the door. After a day of adventure, relaxing in the hot tub under the stars was the perfect! The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and well-equipped, making our stay even more enjoyable. The host was fantastic, providing everything we needed for a comfortable visit. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a magical mountain getaway, and we would love to return.

Lovely cottage with a large lovely hot tub. Perfect for large group of friends or multiple families. Also located very nicely with a good distance to the next cabin.

We had a great stay at Pål's cabin :) It was very clean, Pål was very responsive, and it had all the amenities we wanted (full kitchen, sauna, hot tub, comfy beds). We had an abnormally warm weekend for early March but the snow was still quite nice and we were able to utilize the nearby cross-country trail with very nice views of the mountains. Hot tub was perfect end to the day. Would highly recommend!

The place had everything we needed – and more. The sauna and jacuzzi were perfect, especially since there was limited snow on the slopes. It’s also just a short drive to Norefjell Ski Center, which made it super convenient.

Beautiful cabin in the nature! I can only say good things about the cottage, the location and the super friendly hosts. Absolutely recommended and I hope to be able to stay here again.

World-class location right on the very quiet lake in the middle of nature. The accommodation is original, yet very modern. No sewer available ;-). We liked it very much and the communication with Jaokim went smoothly. We can recommend this accommodation with a clear conscience and would be happy to come back.

Everything was great. I was a little surprised that we had to have our towels and bedding, but we got ready and took it with us. Everything was great. The Jacuzzi was already waiting for us hot and did not have to wait a few hours to warm up as often as you can meet in other homes. Cool house for grilling. Everything you needed in the house. There were also clear instructions for the accommodation.

We were a family of 4 with 3 nights. The cottage is really nice, very cozy and beautiful outdoor areas. The kitchen is not so big but it was fine. Beautiful view from the wooden terrace. The wilderness bath was just perfect. We can clearly recommend others to use the cottage. We enjoyed short hikes near the cottage. Sandvatnet and Fagerfjell. We also drove to Flætebakkfjellet, where we went to the top, where there was a view of Blefjell.

Super lovely stay for my parents from the UK to enjoy their first cabin experience. Large family cabin perfect for families young and old. Great spot to get to explore Rjukan and Telemark. Lovely history and quite a famous family cabin in Hytte magazine! Takk

This is a great cabin next to a lake with a privat beach. The place is basic but great for a cabin. We where suprised the shower was outside and the toilet is just beside one of the bedrooms.

Helge was extremely approachable and helpful host - he even picked us up at the train station due to the bad weather forecast the day we arrived. The place was very clean and cosy, and had all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Very nice outdoor area as well with outside fireplace and terrace. Beautiful surroundings for hiking or just enjoying the scenery. Overall a very pleasant stay and Helge was very helpful with whatever you might need. Recommend!!

THE VIEW & being right on the fjord. Our family enjoyed every minute in Thori’s cabane. The row boat, the terrace by the lake and the tiny cabane were fantastic. Kitchen is very well equipped and has everything you need. Comfort of the beds could be improved. Car is mandatory to stay there. Thori and her husband were discreet hosts and always available if needed.

What a small, beautiful gem by the river. The cottage absolutely sweetened our last stop of our tour and surprised us. We thought it was so much nicer than the pictures showed. Everything is very well maintained, from the garden, boat to kitchen and bathroom. It was impressively clean and looked like first occupancy. Everything you need has been thought of: new candles, dishwashing tabs, new dishwashing sponge, etc. We had experienced this differently before. But in particular, Eirin and Rolf provided the house with loving details, which we were very happy about. There were fresh flowers on the table, the heaters were turned on beforehand and we could spend the evening comfortably by candlelight. We had a wonderful time. Many thanks to Eirin and Rolf. It was nice to meet you. We will be happy to come back.

We had a wonderful stay at Heidi and Kristoffers beautiful cabin. Exquisite location with fabulous views, with great walking paths in close vicinity. They were fantastic hosts and responded immediately to all of our enquiries. We particularly loved the design and layout of the cabin, and felt very comfortable throughout the duration of our stay. We prepared big meals, and really made good use of they're kitchen (an italian in tow)... It should be noted that if you are having big meals be prepared to refill the water tank. For washing up and of course shower purposes. For us this added an extra charm and we really didn't mind refilling at the well just on the doorstep. My daughter loved assisting with the buckets. We had a fabulous 4 day break and found the cabin and it's amenities all very satisfying. As 3 adults, a labrador and a 5 year old, it really did tick all the boxes. Why are eager to return in future!

We spent one night in the cabin. Good bus connection with a short hike. Incredibly beautiful area, perfect for hiking, close to the capital. Despite 10 degrees Celsius in the center of Oslo there was still snow and ice on the trails. Keep this in mind when traveling in early spring. The cabin is heated so there is no need to light a fire in the fireplace. The kitchen is well equipped.

Great place to stay with a dog. Dog parks and nice walking paths in the forest. Easy to drive to Sognsvanns subway station, free parking and 15 minutes to the city center.

We had a great weekend. Quiet location, great cabin, close to the forest and nice hiking opportunities and very nice with fire pit. Good communication with Kristoffer ahead of time and everything was as described.

We had a fantastic 5-night stay at this cabin as a family of 5 and could happily have stayed for longer still. The view out onto the lake is truly fantastic and seemed to get better each morning we woke up to it! The property is finished to a high standard and is at least as good as the pictures, if not better - very warm inside too; and it otherwise had everything we needed. The place is quite remote but the local grocery delivery service to your door works really well - thanks to the hosts for flagging it! - and there are beautiful walks into surrounding hills and forests right where you are. Jacuzzi and sauna both worked very well so you have that mini spa experience on site too. We will genuinely consider a return trip some time and will recommend to friends and family too.

A great vacation home with the perfect mix of design & coziness. We felt comfortable immediately, everything very clean and as described. The house is located at the height in the holiday village with a great distant view and direct access to nature!

It's a very nice house and we had a great week there. The view is beautiful,the beds are comfortable and we just felt comfortable!

We loved Anne’s house so much. We and our dog felt right at home. The view is amazing. To sit on the terrace with this view, you feel like you’re on top of the world! It’s also very private and quiet, with no direct neighbours. The house is nicely decorated, we really loved the very comfy sofas. Highly recommended, we hope we can come back here one day!

We had a great stay with the family in a very idyllic place. The cabin was by the river and it was possible to fish and borrow a boat and canoe. The cabin was fully heated and the beds were made up upon arrival. The host responded quickly to requests and was very helpful and pleasant. The cabin was nicely renovated with nice and thoughtful details.
