Best place to stay in Crete, Greece. 1 hour from aiport by car. Really quiet place. Really great and best owners Aris and Rena :) Our stay was like at home. Really recommend!! From this place can visit any attraction of Crete, max 1 hours by car to visit Rethymno, 1 hour to Heraklion, 1 and half hour to Spinalonga, 15 minutes really nice villages and beaches. 1 hour to mountain caves, Plakias beach is 30 minutes from home. Best beach near home is 5 min drive to Kissos Pirgos beach, sandy, best to visit with children.

Τοσο ο κυριος Μανωλης οσο και η μητερα του ηταν εξαιρετικοι οικοδεσποτες! Ευγενικοι, διακριτικοι, χαμογελαστοι και παντα διαθεσιμοι οταν χρειαζοταν! Το σπιτι ηταν ευρυχωρο, ευηλιο και πληρως εξοπλισμενο! Η μητερα του κυριου Μανωλη, σωστη εκπροσωπος της Κρητικης Φιλοξενειας, μας κερασε φρεσκα αυγα, φασολακια, χορτα και φρουτα για το μωρο μας και για εμας! Συνιστουμε το καταλυμα και θα τους ξαναπροτιμησουμε!!!

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in Elodies Unterkunft. Elodie war sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend und es war alles vorhanden was wir gebraucht haben. Wir durften frisches Obst aus dem Garten ernten und uns mit Elodies liebenswerten Haustieren anfreunden. Insbesondere den großzügigen und wunderschönen Außenbereich haben wir sehr genossen. Danke nochmal an Elodie, wir würden jederzeit gerne wieder kommen!

Wir waren das zweite mal in der Unterkunft und waren wie letztes mal mit allem mehr als zufrieden. Wir würden es jedem weiterempfehlen für einen ruhigen, sonnigen Strandurlaub. Der Kontakt zu den Gastgebern war auch wie immer sehr freundlich. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist direkt am Strand, wo es kostenlose Liegen und Schirme gibt mit netten Restaurants.

Nikki und Ihre Familie haben uns sehr herzlich aufgenommen. Die Unterkunft und die Gastfreundschaft haben unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Die Unterkunft ist ein Schmuckstück! Von hier aus kann man Matala besuchen, die Messara-Ebene erkunden und nach Kaloi Limenes gelangen, wo einst Apostel Paulus‘ Schiff Halt gemacht hat (Apg. 27:8). Ein Spaziergang durch Petrokefali ist auch empfehlenswert.
