Cabin vacation rentals in Tygart Valley River

This was the perfect place for a quick weekend getaway with my husband and our 11 and 14 year old boys. The cabin is cozy but we never felt cramped. We especially loved being able to hang out outside around the fire pit, take in the gorgeous scenery, while dipping in and out of the hot tub. We took advantage of the proximity to hiking trails and drove to the Landis trailhead for a hike up to Chimney Top. Super responsive hosts who were quick to answer any question we had. We would absolutely come back here!

We had an amazing time at Michelle’s cabin! It was absolutely pristine. Everything was extremely clean and updated and we had all we needed to enjoy ourselves. The hot tub was clean and worked great. The surroundings were beautiful! Michelle was very responsive and easy to message with.

Wonderful extended weekend spent in peace and quiet. With a firepit, hot tub, relaxing outdoor porch, it was just perfect for our adventurous weekend. The home is well stocked, comfortable and totally private. The owner was very responsive and helped us with some local options for meals and places to visit.

The best Air bnb we’ve ever stayed in! It was beautiful, was stocked with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and bathroom, it was spotlessly clean, the amenities were to die for, it was peaceful and quiet but just local enough where you could go grab a bite to eat, sit by the lake, or go hiking in the state parks. Anthony was an awesome host, and we would absolutely love to stay not only in this Air bnb again, but his other listings as well!

Absolutely loved our stay at this cozy mountain cabin! The location was peaceful and secluded, and the cabin was clean, well-equipped, and had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Perfect spot to unwind and enjoy nature. Highly recommend!

We just had our 3rd stay at Analog Cabin and have only made a small dent in their spectacular record collection, so we will continue to return again and again. Analog is the perfect place to get away and unplug for a few days. It's clean, quaint and super quirky. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. The hot tub and sauna are a great bonus! Tons of books, games and puzzles! The artwork around the place, both inside and out, is a nice touch. It's easy to be inspired here. Strongly recommend! Thank you David for another great weekend!

This was perfect. Exactly what I was looking for in a father son fishing weekend.

We had a great stay. The house accommodated our 6 adults and 5 grandkids very nicely. There were board games but you should bring your own games for small kids also life jackets for them. Ping pong table and dart board inside the house was nice. We played on the golf course. Very challenging. We utilized the indoor pool at the clubhouse. The canoe was available for usage on the lake for paddling and fishing. The beach was sandy and nice. It was roped off and no fishing around it. Hiking trails were grassy and maintained. The clubhouse had a very nice workout room. There was a nice bar and restaurant at the clubhouse. The bartender was very nice. There was free miniature golf available for those who stayed there. There was a shop n save grocery store 10 min. away. A Walmart superstore was 20 min away. We would come back again.

We had a great weekend! The cabin had a lot of rustic charm and the setting was beautiful! Everything was very clean and well-stocked. The beds were really comfy, and the wood burning fireplace was nice and cozy. Lots to do in the area. Overall, a great weekend escape!

The "Trout & About" is a great fishing cabin with tons of rustic charm as well as more than enough modern conveniences: refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster coffee maker, Keurig & and air fryer. There's even a barbecue grill on the back porch and a nice size fire pit in the backyard with a picnic table. The location can't beat. During the day you can fish the river right from the back yard and at night you can open the windows & drift off to sleep listening to the river. Abby was an extremely attentive & gracious host !!

Incredible stay! The location is stunning, peaceful, scenic(the mountain side view is amazing), and exactly as shown in the listing. Every detail of the home was well thought out, from the cozy layout to the beautiful views. The host also deserve one paragraph. MerryJo and Aaron are amazing — quick to respond, helpful with suggestions, and truly went above and beyond to make the stay seamless and comfortable. I would recommend this place to everyone who wants a quite gateway with full privacy.

I really do try to seek out unique hidden gems when I use AirBnB. Darlene's cabin is for sure on that list now! I was scrambling to find a place to stay to hike the Dolly Sods and surrounding area with my sons last weekend. I stumbled across this place, and it was PERFECT! Not just a great location for all the things you can do in the area, but also a great place to return to at the end of the day. The place was clean and comfortable, with a kitchen well equipped, so we had no need to eat out during our stay. The riverfront tiki bar was also a major highlight to my kids. Was a great evening activity to grab an adult beverage to enjoy classic video games, mini golf, cornhole, darts, etc etc..Darlene was a great host with and quick to respond to any questions I had... I would absolutely stay here again when planning a trip back to the area!

We loved our stay! It was cozy, intimate,and sparkling clean! The only thing I would have enjoyed was a private fire pit on the porch.

The cabin is beautifully decorated and perfect for a cozy, relaxing getaway. We enjoyed the game room and the hot tub, and all the check-in and check-out instructions were easy to follow. The bed was very comfortable, and I appreciated the fan for white noise. We’d love to return one day!

Close to a lot of WV Sites to Visit!

We were looking for a quiet place to stay just to unwind. This place was inviting the moment you walked into the house. The front room with hanging chairs and lots of windows was one of my favorite rooms! We could sit and listen to the wind blow through the trees, watch the clouds pass by and listen to the peaceful rainfall. The king-size bed was SO comfortable and just outside the bedroom was the hot tub, ready to go! It was perfect for a relaxing get-away! Thanks Wanda!

We loved the property and Shea was extremely easy to connect with. The home and surrounding landscape were very secluded and serene. The bed was more comfortable than most hotels and everything in the home was neat and clean. We took advantage of being able to purchase extra firewood and loved sitting by the camp fire. We really loved it there and hope to return someday! We highly recommend this property and host!

Great mountain getaway. Enjoyed the backyard. Towns of Davis and Thomas nearby have fabulous small town feels.

Hummingbirds visited throughout the day, adding magic to an already peaceful stay. The river was stunning and calming, perfect for morning coffee or evening reflection. The house was spotless, thoughtfully decorated with a consistent, charming theme. We loved how secluded and private the location felt, yet we were just a short drive from great restaurants, cozy coffee shops, and outdoor adventures. A perfect blend of nature and comfort—would definitely return!

Our stay at this lovely home was nothing short of magical. It was spotless, beautifully maintained and felt like a true escape into nature. One of the highlights of our stay was freshly baked cinnamon rolls made by our host! The surrounding farm was an absolute delight. Whether is it was visiting the peacocks and chickens or giving the gentle horse a pet, every moment felt serene and special. We were there to celebrate our son’s graduation from WVU and it was an unforgettable experience. We will all cherish it for years to come. Cheers to Elisabeth for making it so special!
