Simple 2 bedroom duplex (pet friendly but no cats)

Simple, but beautiful and comfortable place to stay. You will be staying in one apartment of a duplex. We accept pets, but no cats due to our allergy, sorry!! Only 7 minutes away from downtown Abilene (by car), where you can find amazing cafes (Front Porch Cafe, Monk's cafe), and restaurants (Vagabond Pizza, The Local). There is also an air mattress that you can use for the 5th and 6th person. Thank you!!

My family stayed at Joseph’s place while attending a wedding in the area and it was just what we needed to have plenty of room for my husband and I, my adult children and grandchild. The beds and rooms were comfortable, and it was nice to have a place to relax and a well appointed kitchen to prepare food. It was close to shopping and restaurants.

A countertop is equipped with a coffee machine and a decorative cart. The cart displays several small creamers and sugar packets. The cabinetry above features a warm wood finish, while the countertops are a neutral tone, creating a functional coffee station.

This was great for our little family. Cute little relaxing porch but these Texas mosquitos were no joke, so bring bug spray if you want to enjoy. Walls were pretty thin so I’m not sure where the sound was coming from exactly but there was noise that we could hear over our noise machine in the master bedroom at night (music somewhere but couldn’t hear it outside?), so if you’re a super light sleepy, consider that. Amenities were very thoughtfully put together and a great little place to stay overall.

A spacious backyard is highlighted by a rectangular in-ground pool surrounded by a concrete patio. Lounge chairs are positioned by the pool, and the area features lush green grass. The home, with a brick chimney and multiple windows, is set against a clear blue sky.

We’re so grateful the host allowed us to celebrate my daughter’s 10th birthday here. It meant so much to find a place that welcomed a small gathering, most places don’t. The pool was perfect for the party, and we all had such a blast! The backyard was great, and the patio made it easy to relax and enjoy the day. Inside, the home was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. It felt super homey and peaceful, and the neighborhood was quiet too. We had a wonderful stay and wouldn’t change a thing!

I stayed here for 4 weeks and it was a great value for the location compared to hotels in the area. Feels safe and private. Host is very responsive and respectful. There are many great restaurants close by. Fitness center blocks away. There are two laundromat options nearby as well. I had no issues throughout the length of my stay.

This home was one of the cleanest home I have rented. When you walk in it feels like a home and smells very clean. The home maintained very well and perfect for families. I definitely recommend this home for a family of 6. The space and beds were very comfortable. I definitely will rent it again in the near future.
