Vacation rentals in Twelvemile Beach

What a peaceful, homey, quiet and beautiful stay this was for us! The cabin was clean and perfectly set up for our needs. Nancy was absolutely amazing to us even ensuring that we were going to stay warm with having Don turn the boiler heat back on for us on when the nights got chilly. I highly recommend this little cabin! We will definitely stay again when we get back to Michigan!!

My husband and I totally enjoyed our time at the Love Shack! The host provided clear and precise instructions on preparing for this off-the grid opportunity. The great news, we had a heater that let us warm for the November weather. Plus, the bed was super comfy! We will be back!

Kai is an amazing host! Quick to answer questions and very friendly. His place is AMAZING. The view is stunning of the lake and especially the sunsets. A great place to relax and paint. Falling asleep to the sound of waves crashing on the shore is peaceful and if it is too warm. The windows are easy to close and the AC cools quickly. Very modern, extremely clean and comfortable, a beautiful place to unwind. It is off grid, however, everything you need is provided. Make sure to bring enough food for the week. There are stores and restaurants a little over a hour away. Although, after arriving Kai's place is so tranquil one does not want to leave. Electricity is powered by solar and a generater. The Only people seen were the occasional few at the lighthouse about a half mile away. Definately want to stay again soon!!!

This place is REMOTE, peaceful and quiet. The house was extremely clean and well organized. Its nice to see a full kitchen of everything needed, including spices! Loved the view of the lake.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and comfortable with modern furniture and linens. Rebecca went above and beyond to make the cabin welcoming with a handwritten note, calming essential oil diffusers, house plants, and lavender bath products. The location was within 15-30 minutes of Pictured Rocks, which makes the cabin a great home base for outdoor activities like hiking and kayaking. Munising is only about 10 minutes away too. We really appreciated the well-stocked kitchen for cooking after a day outdoors. Rebecca was responsive and friendly. We recommend this cabin for a trip to the UP!

It was exactly as expected and just what we needed. Even though it’s off the beaten path, the instructions were perfect and we found it easily. The house had everything we needed with instructions and labels (we were in heaven!). The kitchen had plenty of appliances. We were warned in the instructions that the stove could be difficult to light (and it was). We were able to walk right in with only our food and clothes. It was clean and cozy with 1 bedroom downstairs (heated floor!) and 2 beds in the loft. The stairs to the loft are a bit steep as seen in the pictures on the site. Outdoor options included a gas grill, kayaks, and swimming and fishing options (poles provided). There were games and puzzles inside and a smart TV. The furniture inside and out were comfortable. We loved being able to bring our pup. She actually enjoyed the heated floor as she slept in the downstairs bedroom. The lake was beautiful and accessible. The experience was amazing from start to finish.

This house is lovely! We were comfortable here, and we were happy to retreat back at the house at the end of each day of exploring and adventuring around Munising and Marquette. The drive to hiking, sightseeing, water activities, shopping, and restaurants was simple and easy (allow for 25-35 min drive- it is worth it!). The house has everything you need! The bed is very soft (and a bit high off the ground). The non-stick pans in the kitchen were helpful. The front porch is so cozy and the windows were so easy to open to enjoy the cool morning breeze. If you bring a Roku for the tv- do not forget your remote. We ended up using the house’s blue ray player and we watched some of the movies that were provided, but we also downloaded movies on my iPad to watch. I was perfectly happy to read a book while sipping coffee on the porch. I highly recommend this sweet home. We enjoyed ourselves, and the communication with Travis was exceptional!

We love the cute and contemporary house, super clean and well organized. The location is just the right one for us: private, peaceful and a right distance to different trail heads, beach and dining places. Lindsey is like a family member, warm, welcoming but also professional. She knows when to communicate and remind, and always responded swiftly (we highly appreciated). We definitely would come and select to stay in this house again.
