fantastic, cosy place to stay, wonderful host

What a lovely place to unwind , forget about the outside world and immerse yourself in your surroundings. My sister and I had a wonderful 3 nights at Country Mile Escape and I certainly mean to return. The accomodation was great and although we didn't use it Trish had supplied a generous amount of firewood for our use. The beds were thankfully very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the property and had some fantastic photographic moments with some beautiful sunrises and sunsets. There are plenty of places to explore within close proximity, although one day we decided to stay put and just enjoy the property and watch the various farm animals who came to say hello. Thanks to Trish for giving us the opportunity to come and enjoy her lovely property.

This place is absolutely gorgeous. The host’s were extremely helpful and provided clear instructions. I would come back again in a heartbeat. The privacy along with the beautiful land was amazing.

Very cute eco chalet. Nice to come back to the fire going each night. Nice view to wake up to. Peaceful and quiet, a good spot to have a digital detox.

A lovely stay with my Mum while she was receiving treatment at Lismore base. Sincere, thank you Justine for being so accommodating. Some feedback re. front concrete walk in/step area - the moss is super slippery and with rain, more-so. The wifi continued to drop in/out but again, no doubt it was the heavy rains at time that may have affected. Standouts: the views! Some lovely running routes close by. The little extras that you provide like coffee pods etc. The friendly neighbours on the street and the fluffy legged handsome rooster at top of street :) Again, thank-you.

It was a beautiful entrance to the home perfectly manicured gardens and pathways. The tree house was magical, felt like a movie set. And on top of everything they have all organic teas ,body wash and soap. Absolutely was worth more than we bargained for!!

Gale is a very friendly, helpful and welcoming host. Her cabin is well equipped, comfortable and in a great location near the Botanical Gardens and Gallery Walk. We had a wonderful stay, thanks Gale.

We could not have asked for a better getaway experience. Bronwyn’s Alpaca shed is in the most peaceful and serene countryside. The cottage is very simple and rustic but we had everything we needed and immediately felt at home. The alpacas are gorgeous and we loved our twice daily check in from Merlin the friendly and curious poodle. At night the skies are incredibly clear with an expanse of sparkling stars and a nighttime lullaby of frogs croaking. I would 100% recommend this to anyone wanting a break from city life or wanting to reconnect with nature. We appreciated the thoughtful gift of Easter eggs, fresh coffee and limes for the obligatory G&T. Thankyou again Bronwyn, we hope to be back another time.

We had an incredible stay at Waterfall Drive, Wongawallan. The property is an absolute haven — tucked away in the scenic Gold Coast hinterland, yet still close enough to shops and coastal attractions. The home itself is spacious, beautifully maintained, and designed to make the most of the surrounding natural beauty. Waking up each morning to the sounds of nature and expansive views of the rolling hills was a true highlight. The outdoor areas are stunning, perfect for relaxing with a coffee or wine, and the peaceful atmosphere makes it feel like your own private retreat. Inside, the layout is both functional and luxurious — ideal for families or couples looking for space, comfort, and privacy. The kitchen was well-equiped.

Such an amazing spot. Michael and Lou were very welcoming and the airbnb had beautiful views. We will definitely be coming back!

Our stay was exactly what we needed. Natasha was an excellent host. She was very considerate and proactive but not intrusive. The unit was delightful and had everything we could ask for. The shower, in particular, was amazing; plenty of pressure and hot! Our little dog was welcome and she loved the enclosed courtyard which was ideal for her. Suffolk Park is a great location. It is not too far from Byron and everything you need, including a nice hotel, bakery great coffee and takeaways, is all within a short walk. Five stars!

Fantastic stay away. Warm, cosy, rained the whole weekend but didn’t matter as we were able to spend the weekend adventuring local towns and watching the rain come over the mountains through the ceiling high glass windows. Fireplace was perfect, we were able to have our boarder collie with us (who also enjoyed sleeping by the indoor fireplace) Wayne and Jodie and made a beautiful handmade breakfast basket for us for the first morning with fresh baked bread, delicious passion fruit butter and more. The perfect weekend to de-stress.

With the wild wetlands over the road, the birdsong and the sound of the surf not far away, JoJo’s cottage was just what I needed for my brief R&R. The space was uncluttered and conducive to prioritising my time for my creativity, especially my visual art practice, and helping me break through my writers block. I slept soundly and enjoyed the ambience. The Roadhouse Restaurant / Cafe was a walkable distance and about 3 minutes by car - great food, great service and great coffee. It was lovely.

My first experience in a tiny home, it was wonderful. I loved all the thoughtful details, organic tea, Granola, books. the place was very clean, I'll be back for sure :)

This tiny house was a lovely little weekend getaway. Super close to Byron and surrounds though felt like a proper private farm style getaway. The tiny house is a perfect size and exceptionally well equipped - Kirrin and Tony have really taken so much thought in ensuring you feel like you’re in a tranquil home away from home. They were also incredibly quick to respond to any questions or concerns. We especially loved the bonfire and the outdoor bath! It was a perfectly lovely spot and we’d love to return. Great value getaway to Byron.

Spot on. Great location, very local and quiet. Felt worlds away from Byron and the masses. Jess was prompt with her communication and made everything clear and easy. We had a small mishap from our side and Jess was very helpful and understanding. Proper hospitality 🙏

After looking for just the right place for a quiet weekend away, we found Daina's place. It's like falling straight into your own place. This place is a space most would crave, the quiet sounds of nature mixed with the deliberately relaxed atmosphere of the farm and surrounding views is something very special! The attention to detail inside the cabins and quality of what's offered is noticeable. Top quality. We felt privileged to be able to experience this place, we will return if granted by these superior hosts, of whom know what they're doing. If we had to break it down to one word then PERFECT is it. thank you guys

My stay at Whispering Palms in Crabbes Creek NSW was AMAZING. The peace and tranquillity was exactly what I was after. The surroundings so beautiful that my mind relaxed straight away. The tiny home is fabulous and had everything I needed. Ayla and her family are very friendly and caring. Will certainly stay again.

A great little place in the ‘middle of nowhere’ but is actually so close to everything. Tweed is only 25 mins away. Place has everything I needed n was great place to unwind. Will be back
