Absolutely loved my stay at Mellow@Mullum! The place was perfectly cozy and relaxing, just as the name suggests. The host was super welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The beautiful natural scenery, the countless sounds of different birds, the breathtaking Milky Way stretching across the sky behind the clouds, and the adorable dog Malibu — every moment here was joyful and filled with happiness. This place was truly special, and we are so grateful for the experience.

We had a truly lovely and relaxing stay at this beautiful retreat – the perfect escape from the city. Kerry and Barry have created an idyllic place for guests to unwind and reconnect with nature.The property is teeming with wildlife – we spotted wallabies, water hens, ducks, and even caught a 45cm catfish in the lake! The serenity here is incredible. Amy discovered the lake sits at a crisp 20°C after falling in during a paddle-boarding attempt, but fortunately, the 37°C spa was the perfect way to warm up afterwards.Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to make your stay comfortable and memorable. We’re already looking forward to returning and can’t recommend this retreat highly enough!Thank you again, Kerry and Barry! the stay was beautiful and we had a great time, so happy we were able to bring our dog and he loved it. Bonnie left very clear instructions for how to get in to the property (however i wasn't able to see the byron built signs mentioned), and how to checkout. check in and out process was smooth. the airbnb was immaculately clean and beautifully styled, perfect for a couples getaway. also props as it is very disability friendly. really great amenities available with a really well stocked kitchen, BBQ, and utensils. the surrounds and property were beautiful and backed onto a beautiful creek which wouldve been perfect for swimming if it had been sunny. only note is that it was described to be private/secluded. although we had no issues with it, the next closest unit was only around 50m away and when the people staying in the unit returned they were able to see into the lounge room of our unit quite well. very minor criticism as this didn't bother us at all.

all in all this was a great place to wind down and spend time with your loved one/s in a cosy environment

This place was absolutely amazing! From the moment you drive up the driveway you know you’re in for a good time. Perched upon the rolling greens hills of Byron Bay the first things you notice are the exceptional views. As you enter the property you immediately feel like you are home. It has everything you need to be self contained and was warm and cosy, not to mention the amazing smells of the hand made soaps that radiate through the house. Our host was simply amazing, very kind, friendly & welcoming. If you are looking for accommodation in the region you can’t go past it. Less than 5 mins to Bangalow for your morning coffee, 15 mins to The Pass for a surf and when you are done for the day you come back to the little sanctuary where you get to share the sunset with the cows as it sets behind the hills. We didn’t want to leave this place and neither did our dog but will most definitely be back.

I went here during the week, to completely disconnect from work and this place definitely did the trick. Red wine by the fire. music on the speaker. Charlie the dog kept me company during the days. and the cheeky magpies came up for breakfast. Will definitely be back. Thankyou.

Location was great, 10 min walk to the bustle of Byron but far away enough to be extremely peaceful and quiet at night. Very open and spacious, great outdoor area for entertaining as guests. Very easy to find, check in was simple, ample parking, great heating (if staying in winter), all mod cons.

Absolutely magical, rustic but all you need to switch off from the world. We will definitely be back. Thank you Vanessa for sharing your wonderful cabin.

Wonderful stay. Great location, close to town centre, easy to the lighthouse to catch the sun rise. Had all amenities needed for a comfortable stay. We went in winter, but the shed was cosy and warm. A lot of blankets, for outside on the deck and in the room were provided. Gail is lovely & friendly.

Kristal’s cottage offered everything we wanted and more—great natural light, a creek running out back, surrounded by majestic trees and a yard where the neighbor’s chickens wander, an efficient little kitchenette where we cooked most meals, and a gorgeous bathroom with fabulous spa bath. 🛁 So grateful for the stars that aligned for us to have this week-long magical getaway.

This cabin met our needs perfectly. The views were so lovely and the place was lovely and clean and quiet.

Had a great stay here. Well worth the high ratings. Tasteful decor, well provisioned, clean and very comfortable. Great location: walk to headland, beach and cafes. Kylie was a great host: clear communication and available if required. Will definitely stay again!

Thanks Teddy for all your help with being able to accommodate us as a very last minute booking. Your cabin is in a great location very close to the nearby attractions and fitted the bill for what we needed for our 2 night stay . Loved the welcome gift and how well stocked the kitchen was .

We had a lovely overnight stay in one of the cabins. Comfy beds & functional and clean kitchen and bathroom. Location is beautiful- right on the edge of the creek.

Nice comfortable house to base our family for some bush-walks. Jacqui was easy to deal with and provided information about the local area and trails in the house.

Beautiful property and surrounds to explore. Very peaceful and relaxing.
