Our Loft is a 44 square metre private, boutique apartment located in the foothills of the Tararua ranges. It is nestled in our tranquil 18 acre, 5 star New Zealand Gardens Trust Garden of National Significance. Situated conveniently a 5 minute drive from Massey University, a supermarket, pharmacy and several restaurants, Central Palmerston North is only a 15 minute drive away. Privacy is guaranteed by a separate entrance and adjacent parking. There are several interesting walks in the area.

Connected to my glass art studio is a bright, secluded visitors suite with a double bedroom, bathroom en suite, and off street parking. There is a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, and a section of hot drinks as well as free wifi and Chromecast. A private sanctuary at the end of a cul de sac halfway between the city and Massey giving you easy access to local amenities. My garden hosts a lovely family of Tui who tumble and chat as they enjoy their feeders and the established native trees.

Approximately 8-10 minute drive to the outskirts of town, Massey University, the IPU Tertiary Institute and to our local Summerhill shopping centre with a supermarket, takeaways, laundry, café’s and restaurants. Palmerston North's CBD is about 13 km's. Your private entrance leads to a guest suite attached to our house with a lounge, separate double and single bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchenette with basic supplies for preparing meals.

It is situated on a large section with a lovingly maintained garden, making it suitable for a family get away or for use when in town on a business trip. The Esplanade and river walk are only 800m away and the CBD is a quick 1.5km drive. We are also in close proximity to Massey University and UCOL. The friendly host will ensure you have everything you need.

Kawau - Loft - private & spacious accommodation

Kawau Loft is a private, totally self-contained accommodation space above our standalone garage. It has been completely renovated to provide a 2-level spacious, modern living space with all amenities - a home away from home. The loft and main house is on 1.5 acres with a large lawn and gardens you are free to wander. We are unable to accommodate children under the age of 12.
