The home was as.my wife put it "very adequate". Stayed there for the day while in transit to Tobago after coming on an early flight. Pickup was easy and smooth with a call as we came out the arrivals hall. The rooms aren't fancy but they provide exactly what you need at an affordable price. The room and home we're spotless. I say this as an Airbnb host who also has a neat freak wife. The housekeeper really did a good job.

Liesel was really comprehensive as I had some trouble to reach the accommodation. She made sure I will be check-in properly. The room is clean and the staff is really sweet. I recommand

I truly enjoyed my five-day stay at RicLys BnB! The bedroom and bathroom area were well sized and include a refrigerator and microwave, along with a table, two beds, and full bathroom. The backyard area is breathtaking and looks like a resort. All the pictures online match the reality of the setting. I was greeted each morning with a breakfast with calming music and a great view. The hosts set up excursions for me to enjoy during my stay, including a beach day and a waterfall hike. When I was hungry, Ric drove me to get food both in the village and in Cumana. I was picked up and dropped off directly at the airport before and after my stay. I did not need to exchange money at the airport, as the hosts exchanged money for me. Overall, I would highly recommend staying at this listing if you’re looking for a relaxing short-term getaway.

Staying here was truly a wonderful experience! The location is unbeatable—perfectly situated in a safe neighborhood just a short walk from Ariapita Avenue, the vibrant heart of nightlife in Port of Spain. Being able to park right in front of the house was also super convenient. But what really made this stay exceptional was Liesl and her amazing team. From the very first moment, Liesl made me feel completely at home. She even took the time to go to the supermarket with me so I could get everything I needed after arriving. At one point, I had an issue with an ATM: it didn’t give me any money, but the amount was still deducted from my account. Liesl was incredibly supportive and helped me sort everything out—it would have been really stressful without her assistance. And best of all, she helped me fulfill a lifelong dream: witnessing leatherback turtles in the wild. I wholeheartedly and enthusiastically recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Port of Spain!

I was pleasantly surprised. Being that it was my first time staying at an Air B&B, everything was to my liking. It was clean, cozy and quiet . A place for relaxation 🙂. Wend is a very nice person, warm and inviting. Definitely a rare find. Will be back for sure.

Great place can’t complain just the location was a bit tricky

This is a stunning spot. Carolina the housekeeper met us at the gate along with several friendly house dogs. She was a sweetie who coped well with our pigeon Spanish. The house is right on the ridge, the views across the sea & hillsides are gorgeous. As is the garden. You can walk down the hill to the beach but it’s a steep hour’s walk. 4x4s can also get you there. We walked down & hitched a ride back up! Breakfast was eggs & toast, which was fine by us. We loved Mahogony Ridge - would like to return.

I highly recommend the Royal Nest. We had very welcoming and kind hosts. The building is set in an accessible and beautiful location and provides. The Royal Nest a restful breezy escape with a beautiful view. I will definitely be coming back and I will recommend this space to anyone who is looking for a place to stay. The Royal Nest also has a delicious and delightful breakfast offering. They are always on hand to arrange anything we wanted. In the run up to the trip they asked for an itinerary which they used to help us with making arrangements on the ground. The team were flexible, lovely and most of all showed genuine concern for making our trip smooth and fun which we really appreciated.

Thanks to Justin and the entire team at the Royal Nest for providing such a fantastic experience during our stay. When we encountered an issue with a transportation company, Justin/Sheron promptly stepped in to assist us in arranging alternative transportation, showcasing their responsiveness and dedication as hosts. His personable and friendly demeanor added an extra layer of enjoyment to our time there. Additionally, we were impressed by the updates they provided to the place before our arrival, demonstrating their attentiveness to customer needs. The breakfast prepared by Sinead was exceptional, and we thoroughly enjoyed every dish. The location of the Royal Nest was ideal, allowing us quick access to Savannah and other places, and the peaceful atmosphere of the area, with minimal traffic on the street, added to the overall charm of our stay. Thank you once again for providing us with a wonderful place to stay for carnival. We wouldn't hesitate to return.
