I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this hostel in old Tiraspol. It was interesting to meet other travellers and the location was ideal. Leana cleaned daily was always helpful.

From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with such warmth and kindness by this lovely couple—it truly felt like coming home. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, well taken care of, and had everything I needed during my stay. The space was spotless and filled with thoughtful touches that showed just how much care they put into hosting. Whether it was providing local recommendations, checking in to make sure everything was going well, or even surprising me with a small treat or two, they were genuinely attentive without ever being intrusive. It’s rare to meet people so generous, welcoming, and genuinely committed to creating a great experience for their guests. Their hospitality was easily one of the highlights of my trip. If you have the chance to stay here—don’t hesitate! You’ll be in the very best hands.

For those traveling a little off the beaten track, Bendery is certainly different and worth visiting. The apartment was good value and in a great central location, only 100 meters from the start of the town center. So All shops are within a very short walk, as is public transport (Busses, mini busses and taxis). The apartment, although older, was very warm (middle of winter), had plenty of room to move, had 2 balconies (with different views), it was quiet, secure and had all the listed amenities, plenty of hot water for a shower, and a comfortable bed and great WiFi. For me, it was excellent! I loved every minute of it. Slava is a warm responsive hose as were any of the local people that I talked to. I would happily book this apartment again.

I enjoyed my stay at Juliana’s apartment. It is located in a central area of Tiraspol, making it easy to reach points of interest. I chose the apartment in large part because of the Wi-Fi 6. The internet worked well, in the weekend I stayed at the apartment, I did not experience any downtime and had no problem streaming or doing video calls. Juliana met me at the apartment for check-in and check-out and sent me a helpful Google Doc with house rules and tips to keep in mind when entering Transnistria (the PMR). Thanks to Juliana’s advice, my experience at the checkpoint on the road from Chișinău was straightforward and I was granted more than enough time. Juliana also sent me many messages with tips and recommendations to make the most of my time in Tiraspol. I had a pleasant stay at this apartment and would stay again if I return to Tiraspol. The interior design was nice and the refrigerator was large. There is an elevator in the building and a washing machine and desk inside the unit.
