The guesthouse in Shvanidzor was a wonderful place to stay—clean, cozy, and surrounded by beautiful nature. It’s a great spot for anyone looking to relax and enjoy a quiet, authentic experience in this border but amazing village in south Armenia.

In a 10 minute ride from Kapan city center, this is a perfect place to relax and enjoy Armenian nature. The house is located in a picturesque mountainous place and has an amazing view of the mount Khustup right from the rooms and balcony. You can enjoy organic food during your stay and, if interested, visit a farm located very close. Ancient castles, as Halidzor; monasteries, as Vahana Vanq; and natural reserves, as Shikahogh, are among the most interesting places to visit and explore here.

Cool accomodation between huge mountains. Very friendly dog will follow you everywhere. Vazgen provided his home-made products (very tasty) and shared his insightful experiences. Place misses nothing and with small price you will be given fabulous breakfast.

A spacious chalet interior features a wooden ceiling with large triangular windows offering mountain views. Two single beds with neatly arranged towels are positioned alongside a grey sofa and a coffee table. A flat-screen TV sits mounted on the wall, providing modern amenities.

We stayed overnight in Kapan in this wonderful place, the host was very helpful in finding a place and accommodating, although we arrived quite late. And in the morning there was a beautiful view of Mount Hustupu and also fed us with a delicious breakfast. Highly recommend this place:)

The location is unsurpassed, as it is a 5-minute drive to the Tatev Cable Car. We specifically chose this location for the house because we know the area well. The location of the property was very convenient, accessible to many things we would like to see. The house is spacious, designed for 4 people, has all the essentials. This is one of the best Airbnb ever. We will definitely return to this apartment again. This is a sailing place to relax, clean air, and a pleasant environment. Everything is comfortable, clean and cozy and warm, you feel like home. We recommand your space for future guests.
