Lake house vacation rentals in Trout Lake

Spacious, beautiful, and peaceful! This was a very well-appointed home that accommodated six comfortably and allowed us to organize our gear and cook real meals. I only wish we could have stayed longer to play frisbee or croquet on the grass and eaten some meals outside in the gorgeous green surroundings. Would return in a heartbeat!

After attending this annual event at Skamania was by far the most enjoyable, all thanks to this incredible home! Having a packed agenda, going dusk to dawn daily, and having previously experienced the drives from off-property stays, this home was a revelation. It offered ample space for three adults, featuring a superb modern kitchen and dining area, plus beautifully appointed bathrooms. The large front yard with its breathtaking lake view and a great backyard for entertaining provided the perfect escape. The quick stroll to the lake and park, teeming with wildlife, was a delightful way to spend the evenings. Cora was incredibly welcoming, professional, and went above and beyond. The convenience of being nearly walking distance from Skamania allowed me to truly relax and recharge after demanding conference sessions, making the whole trip exponentially better. While perfect for our group, it would be an ideal family retreat too. I'll definitely be returning for my next conference!

Troy was very accommodating to our large group size. There was an issue caused by a previous group that Troy rather quickly came to fix. His responsiveness and willingness to help was refreshing. The neighborhood was very quiet (exactly what we were looking for!), and the surrounding scenery was stunning. Overall a great experience. Thanks Troy!

Space is larger than the photos make it look. Bed is warm and super comfortable. Barb is really thoughtful with all the amenities and she checked in with us a couple of times during our stay to make sure we were comfortable. She stayed in the studio adjacent to the property while we there to give us a bit of extra privacy which was a nice gesture on her part. The hiking trail 5 minutes away (walking) from her front door is a must do. Fantastic views. Mosier is definitely a sleepy community during the off season, but Hood River is a very short drive away and has a lot of shopping and dining activity if that is what you are looking for. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet in Mosier.

Such a lovely place for our extended stay. We had everything we needed and really enjoyed our time in the home.

This place was very nice. The large windows and peaceful surroundings meant a lot of staring at nature; when the clouds cleared a stunning view of Mt. Hood emerged. The kitchen is strategically placed between two living rooms and it was easy to feel like you were still part of the conversations while cooking. The property is beautiful. I wish there was a trail on the property but we drove to one close by. The teenagers loved the air hockey and the adults wished the air hockey table was downstairs or in the garage as it echoes through the house. We just placed some time limits on playing before our heads exploded LOL We would rent this place again.

Nice place right off the Sandy River. Neighbors are fairly far away so it's private and peaceful. Smart TVs for all your streaming needs and the hot tub was clean and ready to go. As a fisherman I can attest to the fishing hole right down the path from the house. Water level was a bit high as it's winter but looks like it'd be great in spring/summer/fall. The hold is about 100 ft. head to tail with a nice little seam and boulders.

The place was exactly as shown. Everything seemed brand new and the kitchen was well stocked with appliances. One of our group members is a house cleaner and even commented on how clean the place was! Great location for getting out and hiking, or staying in to relax. Would stay here again!

We loved our stay here! We especially appreciated how clean and beautiful everything was. Adam and Hannah were very kind and responsive. They were willing to accommodate an early checkin which was very much appreciated. I highly recommend staying here!

The house was so comfortable and well furnished. Lots of seating and extra blankets to get cozy on the couches and watch movies. Loved the beds, bedding and pillows. Good water pressure and very clean throughout. We saw deer in the yard and enjoyed our adventure down to the lake.

We loved our family’s stay. The owners accommodated us and made us feel comfortable and welcome. The home is beautifully and comfortably furnished and designed.

I’ve stayed at many air bnbs and Cora’s place outshines them all. Plenty of seating for everyone- that’s hard to find. Beds were extremely comfortable and we had everything needed for a perfect girls weekend - down to a basket of blankets for snuggling by the fire for our heart to hearts. 20 out of 10 recommend

Amazing house with plenty of space for gathering and relaxing on the beautiful Columbia River. It made for a perfect spot for a big group of women for a bachelorette party weekend. The house is spectacular! Great deck to lounge on, nice outdoor space for the dog, beautiful home to hang out in with close access to trails, the kayaking and a cute nearby town. Would absolutely stay here again!
