The magical Castell Coch is just up the road, and the Coach House is a 1-minute walk from the local pub. Enjoy fantastic mountain and woodland walks, all nearby for a perfect escape.

Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. The Roost Merthyr Tydfil is a small gated cabin site tucked away in a quiet spot. Arosfa is our self-contained ensuite cabin made for bikers, hikers and outdoor explorers. From The Roost, ride straight onto the Taff Trail (route 8) and reach BikePark Wales in 15 minutes, or its a short drive into the Brecon Beacons National Park. At the end of a busy day, unwind by the firepit. Our cabins are cosy, practical and dog-friendly - with your own secure bike/gear storage and awesome facilities.

Less than 1 mile from Bike Park Wales, and 3 miles from Merthyr Tydfil, 9 miles from Brecon Beacons and 22 miles from Cardiff, with the benefit of private parking for 2 vehicles and ample further parking opposite. Also a safe secure alarmed bike shed, suitable for 5 large bikes, covered by CCTV, with a metered heater. AC is pay as you go, which covers the whole cottage.
