Located at the foot of the Cathar Castles, 12 minutes from Mirepoix or Chalabre, 35 minutes from the City of Carcassonne but also 15 minutes from the lakes of Montbel or Puivert for swimming and water activities. Enjoy the peace, the view and the comfort of this stylish chalet. Very suitable as a romantic getaway or relaxing in nature with your family. We are at 650 meters altitude, in a hot summer it is always a little cooler than in the valley and with a breeze, very pleasant. At night, the lake cools down and it's a good night's sleep. We don't need air conditioning. Dogs are welcome, €15 per stay. For the winter, there is a wood-burning stove. We provide a wheelbarrow with firewood for €15.

Our peaceful house is located in a quiet village a short distance from Mirepoix. Accommodation is on the first floor and comprises of a large open plan living space with kitchen, dining and living room. There are two bedrooms and a modern bathroom . Relax on the small balcony with view of the Pyrenees or in the private garden. The area has so much to offer with it's famous Cathar castles such as Montségur and Montbel lake only a few kilometres away.

Upstairs a large single open room with 3 double beds ( 140/190 )
