I couldn’t have chosen a better place—or better hosts. Slyde, and especially Frederic, were more than just welcoming; they took the time to show me around and introduced me to wonderful people. I gained a lot of perspective both in art and life by having a lovely conversation with them. Aulnay-sous-Bois is a quiet yet vibrant and well-connected community, and the hosts represented the town perfectly. The room was cozy, and the house itself is filled with remarkable works of art. And as lovely as it was, it was also convenient—just a 3–5 minute walk to patisseries and grocery stores, another few minutes to the train station, and only 20–30 minutes from the heart of Paris. It was a beautiful experience—one that made it easy to call this place home, even if only for a few days.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Cedric’s parents welcomed me like family—room spotless with private bath, a blooming French garden, and even a homemade garden feast. We shared pizza while watching Eurovision, with cats, a dog, and birds around. Truly authentic, warm, unforgettable—French daily life you don’t often get to see as a traveler. I left with a full heart. Thank you for making me feel at home, in the truest sense.

The host left me clear instructions to allow me to arrive at the premises peacefully. Almost everything was available: dishwashing liquid, towels, linens, toilet paper. Basic condiments: oil, salt, pepper, oil. I couldn't extend the single bed to make it double, the slats didn't seem to be in their normal location. I would like to highlight the flexibility of the host regarding the departure time
